Manning, Colts Put On A Show

0
Peyton Manning leads Mort's Week 5 QB list.
The criticism that Peyton Manning can't win the big game has always been laughable to me, and Manning again showed why in a comeback win over the Bucs on Monday night. In fact, the Colts' 38-35, overtime victory in Tampa is all over my Week 5 review for reasons both good and bad. The quarterback and wide receiver play was good, the officiating was bad. Oh, and the Bucs are still one of my Super Bowl picks.

  • Mail: Where Does Fine Money Go?

I'm glad to keep fielding questions from football fans everywhere, and I answer some more in my most recent mailbag: Where does the NFL's fine money go? When will people start giving credit to Redskins coach Steve Spurrier? Are the salaries of suspended players counted against a team's salary cap? Do all NFL team doctors get treated as badly as the ones on "Playmakers"? If your question isn't answered, don't be discouraged -- you can always keep asking!
