Need a Spokesmodel for Sunday, Feb 16!
I know this is last minute notice, but it was at the last minute that my spokesmodel Alison couldn't do the swap meet with me. I need someone that wear my stuff, look cool, smile and hand out cards and flyers for my show at the Motorcycle Swap meet this Sunday in Detroit. Common things to wear are as follows:
  
Of course, I have the usual biker, goth, and fetsih items, saddle bags, studded wristbands, chokers, etc., and I'll even have some of my Renaissance Faire stuff on hand, and much of it fits a range of sizes.
It's in Detroit, and depending on where you live, I may be able to provide transportation. I'll be driving in from the west side of Michigan, so if you live in Lansing, Ann Arbor, or parts in between, I can give you a lift.

Yes, maybe you can see it for free! I have two tickets for the WMMQ Private Screening for Saturday, 2:25 in Lansing Michigan. For reasons I won't go into, I have no one using the other ticket. If anyone wants to go and can be in Lansing by 2:00, or in Bellevue (where I live) by 1:00, then you are more than welcome! No, this isn't a blind date thing, and I can't get any more tickets. I just whipped this one up today, and added it to my line. I'm starting to work on designs and stuff, for I've just been accepted to CONVERGENCE 9 in Las Vegas next April, and I'll be showing 4 designs in the fashion show. But, for right now, I had a simple vision in my head that I needed to get out, so here it is. I plan a matching long skirt to go with it.
Speaking of Convergence, I need to take at least one model with me, and I'm starting the search. If you know anyone who might be interested, put them in touch with me!
I have it on eBay for anyone that might be interested, tell your friends!

Hey all. I'm new. A little bio and necessary info for future happenings. I'm not a rivet and I'm not a goth. I'm an 18yr guy from Mighigan who enjoys EBM,Synth-pop,Drum and Bass, Darkwave and a variety of trance. I spin hard house and drum and bass from time to time.
Now the info for future happenings: This saturday, I am interviewing Tom Shear aka Assemblage 23 here in Detroit before his show. If you are going to the show, then we should meet. If you have a question that you would like to be asked of him, then drop me a comment. I can transcribe the interview if there is actual interest in seeing it online.

Okay, I just found out that I am confirmed for a Medieval Faire in New York on Memorial weekend. The fair runs the 25th & 26th of May. Ironically, it's in Huntington Long Island, which is 5 minutes from where I used to live. My ex-wife and I moved there after our honeymoon and lived there for two years. It was cool. We rented a house on the across the street from the shore of the Long Island Sound, in Bayville -- a town that doesn't even lock it's doors at night. And we were only 20 minutes from the city (Manahattan & Greenwich Village) by car or train, so we spent many a weekend clubing around!
Anyway, my best friend Doug, who was going to ride with me, now can't go, so I'm looking for a trip mate. It's a great opportunity to see the real Gotham City for cheap (you feed yourself!) ! I know that most of my LJ friends don't live near me -- the only ones in this state are in Kalamazoo and Detroit. But if anyone wants to go to New York City for a couple of days or so you are welcome to ride along! Anyone interested contact me here or via my email: clorimer1@earthlink.net.
My plans are to leave Friday morning, the 24th, so as to arrive in the afternoon and leisurly get aquainted with the faire site. Saturday and Sunday I will be commited to the faire, but the trains are good trasportation to the city, or you could spend time in the beach towns (we'll be in one of them), or even hang out at a Renaissance Faire, and you could have a blast! Monday I plan to spend time in the city, especially the village, shopping, visiting a couple of friends that live there, and possibly clubing a little. I plan to return to Michigan on Tuesday, however the Monday / Tuesday plans are open for alteration, may even stay another day. I'm serious, no funny business, it's a long drive to make solo.
