Zito Back In Derby Picture
He's a two-time winner of the Kentucky Derby -- in 1991 with Strike the Gold and in 1994 with Go For Gin -- but for the last two years, trainer Nick Zito has has had to watch America's greatest race from the sidelines. Bill Finley writes that it appears Zito is back on the road to the Derby, and in a big way, with three talented colts: Champagne champ Birdstone, Lane's End Futurity winner Eurosilver, and a newcomer on the scene, The Cliff's Edge, who took the Kentucky Jockey Club on Saturday.
