Distinguished speakers Prof. Najwa Qattan, Prof. Joseph Masâad, Prof.
Michael Cooperson, and Prof. Saree Makdisi will reflect on Said's life and
legacy, highlighting his monumental scholastic achievements and his
enduring commitment to the Palestinian cause. The evening will feature
performances by members of Prof. Ali Jihad Racy's Near East Music Ensemble
and pianist Saree Qattan, as well as a poetry recital by Shawki El-Zatma.
Doors open at 7:00 p.m.; Event will begin promptly at 7:30 p.m.
