All proceeds from sales and donations help keep the website going, and every little bit helps. We're paying about $50 a month for webhosting and $24.95 a month for an internet dial-up connection, and we do it without any grants from the Ford Foundation. One dollar keeps Unknown News on-line for about ten hours. Ten dollars keeps us on-line for about four days.
Amazon's "honor system" is completely anonymous; that's their policy, so Amazon's a good choice if you want to be a 'Secret Santa'. But it means we can't send your sticker(s) until you drop us an email, telling us you've paid via Amazon.
At one contributor's request, we got an e-gold account (755303) and we're curious to see how/whether it works. :)
