Holding Out For a Hero

I've been lurking on the African Americans for Dean listserv for about the last month or so, and to be honest, I've seen little there to sway my support toward the Dean camp. After Trollquan McTroll posted a sexist and marginally homophobic screed against the "bent-kneed women and soft men" on the listserv who support Dean (instead of his proposed boycott/protest of Dean by "Black America"), I offered that I doubted we would hear any concrete desires/solutions from Trollquan because I suspected that he had nothing of substance to offer.
Another poster—I'm uncertain whether he works for the Dean campaign— asked me what issues I cared about. The issues you'll see below are not the only issues I care about in this election, but they fairly represent where my head is at these days. Comments/discussion are welcome and appreciated.

Since reaching the most recent weight loss milestone, I've been toying with the idea of setting some concrete goals for myself. For the most part, I've been pretty dedicated to losing weight and becoming a healthier, more fit person; however, most of my goals have been centered on one specific target - reaching (or slipping beneath) the 200 pound mark. Now that I'm here, it's time that I set some specific health and fitness oriented goals for myself to keep myself motivated and on track now that my weight losses have slowed.
