belief adendum... why i'm asking you to stop stepping on my toes... can you imagine how hard it is to explain your beliefs every day to someone who just can't accept what you are? give it a try for one day, you'll be screaming for it to cease... Current Mood: annoyed |

Beliefs are a funny thing... if you go around stepping on some ones toes are they not going to ask you to stop...
well i'm asking ppl to stop. just because I, or my friends have a certain point of view that does not coincide with your beliefs does not mean you have to ARGUE the fucking point into the ground.
I was a southern baptist child. I woke up one morning and said "I will be an atheist today". that was almost 6 years ago and since that time I found that nothingness is lonely. I turned to a god (I won't say what god).
I had done extensive research on many religions. Bhuddism, Taoism, Scientology (don't get me started), Mormon-ism (don't get me started), Satanism, and other theologies and occult beliefs. Yes I have even read 36 of the 66 books of the bible (thats just over half dumass)...
What I have found is that I don't really have a concrete belief system, I don't need one, but you know what I do have? an IDEA
think about it...

Gamers are nice people... I am a nerd. What do ex-pothead, LSDaddicts (and a host of other legal and illegal substances) do for fun in their off time the play roleplaying games with a host of other nerd and freak-o's (no offense, but you know whoand what you are). I have "gamed" more and more over the past 2 years and come to a realization... That "gamers" are the nicest people in the world. Granted my friends (close friends, the innercircle, the pack, or what have you) are all gamers, but I speak about those who aren't of the innercircle, those who we only see at our games and don't really hang around outside of our games or just people we meet out in the world who happen to be gamers. They always turn out to be very nice persons, who would help out in just about any situation. I have consistantly seen fellow gamers offer up support and help where ever possible. I have yet to meet anyone who disprooves this theory. Granted people in general have thier problems and won't normally step outside thier bounds to offer a helping hand to just anyone. Gamers are a certain breed that comes together to be someone else for a short time which in turn lets others see us in a different light. No gamer can say they do not put a little of themselves into the characters they portray. And to see how that person plays a character (or characters) lends something to what the player's personality is. In closing blah blah freakin blah, not like you people (those who are reading this that do not or have not ever gamed) really give two shits... THE WONDERS OF SCIENCE why is it that scientists can waste time and sit on thier asses and get paid all kinds of money for example... •A study from Wilkes University in PA, found that listeningto Muzak can help ward off common colds. •A study conducted in Japan measured people's brain waves while they chewed different flavors of gum.It was determined that spearmint produces the most mental activity. •Tuft University researchers have begun a long-term study to determine if there's a connection between mental illness and the knack old ladies have for gathering stray cats. •Dr. Andrew Weil found that a possible cure for allergies to cats is LSD. •Scientists at MIT have found that when lab rats which have been trained to run through mazes are asleep, they tend to dream about running through mazes. now I ask you is this quality research or just smokin' too much and gettin' to lazy Current Mood: drainedCurrent Music: gorillaz...track 9 |

162 SHITS South Park was funny as hell last night. For anyone who didn't see it, over the course of the 30 minute show the word "shit" was spoken by 162 times and spelled out about nine times. album review #1 ...on tuesday I bought the new 311 album. It kicks so much ass if I do say. It's there best album since the blue album (self titled). From Chaos is the titled of the latest T,N,P,C and D combo. The title track is enlightening lyrically and melodically, and with other cuts like I told myself, You Wouldn't Believe, Champagne, and sick tight make this a MUST HAVE for the funk punk rock fans Current Mood: mellowCurrent Music: 311: from chaos: hostile apostle |
