Time flies. [25 Jul 2004|12:01pm] [ mood | sore ] So there's definitely a lot that's happened. I just goy back from orientation two days ago, where I had a blast and met some really cool kids, who I should remember to call later today or something. I'm so psyched for Ann Arbor, for U Mich and for everything else that comes along with it, like my 5 free condoms a day at the health center or as the students like to call it: Ballaz with a budget. ^_^ The art show kicked major ass as well. I spent hours walking around it and due to it Urban had an awesome street sale where I got 2 skirts, a shirt, a hat, a pair of glittens, a scarf, and a visor for $38-. I also got the most awesome watch at the art fair and signed up to work for aids awareness in Ann Arbor when I get there in the fall. Yesterday was Paige's party, and we (Nat, Erica and I) were all set to go, so we jumped in the car, grabbed some junk food, and headed out. Everything was going well until we got halfway across the Tapanzee bridge. I was turning on the GPS and when I looked up the car started swerving. Now, for the record, we were all the way in the left lane..we hit the median, spun across all three lanes, went up on the guard rail all the way to the right, and landed against the curb of the bridge facing in our original direction, in the right lane. Now how we didn't get smashed by another car because it was midday in moderate traffic, I don't know. We were just so lucky that none of us were hurt. We were just lucky. We got towed and my dad picked us up in Tarrytown. So it's safe to say that we didn't get to Paige's. But I'm glad that we were all together. 6 breaths|Breathe through my mouth.

So I leave tomorrow for the 10 hour drive out to Michigan for orientation. What can I say? I'm excited to go, to meet people, and to figure out what I'm actually going to be taking in college. Everyone else who went to their orientation had a super blast and met wicked cool people -- so I hope I have fun too. [14 Jul 2004|03:30pm] [ mood | loved ] It was really nice to see him, despite the circimstances. We spent a lot of time together (no shit) and talked a lot. We talked about the possibility of me going to visit him either over a break or next summer. He told me that I would get on really well with his father, and that the first thing that he would do once I got there would be to have his father cook me a proper English breakfast. Last night I asked him if he was mad at me and his response was "Why would I be mad at you? You're my best friend here." Right now I'm just beat. So tired and I should take a nap and be well rested for the traditional 4:00 phone call and the events that should be taking place after that (even though I have no clue what they are.) But I'm not going to... so what else is new? I get my braces off on August 19th (Brian's birthday) at 1:30!!!!! I'm soooooooo exicted for that!!!! ^_^ !!!! Wisdom teeth come out August 3rd and that just freaks me out..I'm nervous, but I suppose I'm pretty used to oral pain by now because of my braces and the other oral surgury that I had, but that doesn't compare at all. V called me out of the blue to do some lunch, so while I showered he drove over to my place to pick me up. We went over to Ramsey to get fantastically awesome pizza at Kinchleys and then we came back here for a bit, decided to go see Saved! and Erica was a sweetheart and picked me up and we headed up to Teaneck. So Saved!, loved it! Thought it was completely awesome. Especially the one Jewish. Heehee. There we met up with Amanda, Eugene, Katie and Kris. Ang and James went to go see Trot because they had already seen Saved. After all that we all headed over to the diner and along the way picked up Lil Mitchell and Amanda's friend Marissa. Koz also joined us. It was fun..talked about a certain "unit" a lot, had some awesome cake, etc. Great conversation with great friends. Also flipped on Ant on the phone at one point. (Sorry about that) After that Euge, Jordan, V, Ang, James, and I went over to Andrey's where he and Anu were. We chilled for a while and then Euge drove me home with was terribly sweet of him. I owe him one. But theres something in the back of my mind getting me down. I can't seem to put my finger on it, and I hate when that happens. I guess I feel like nothing's going my way right now. Oh and I got a really encouraging message from someone on the facebook: From: Jay Will To: Bradleigh Dornfeld Subject: hey Message: hey, i see ur gonna live in baits next year, i suggest you try to switch...fyi. Dave is my hero. [10 Jun 2004|03:30pm] What a wonderful (drunken) phone call I recieved last night...only a week late. It was full of I miss you's and I care about you's. Turns out he lost my number or something and couldn't find it and was going to write me a letter until Dave found it. It was sweet and he does make me happy. And the boys are great, too! We spoke for a while, and although I'd like to, I'll spare you all a complete recount. I'm heading out out out tonight and into the city to see Matt Nathanson (Matty N) and Sister Hazel at Irving Plaza with an assload of good friends. I'm excited..it should be fun. And then it's crashing at Amanda's and bright and early down to Six Flags. Then maybe Harry Potter with Natalie (I really wanna go) if we don't get back to late. If I have time between Six Flags and the movie then I might go see Will off for prom. which would be nice. (Oh, Nat, that was the thing that I couldn't remember the other day) but if I don't go I won't be heartbroken (no offence Will). Then Saturday Vasilis may have himself a birthday get-together, and if he doesn't want to, I may have on for him. Who knows? Then Sunday is Vasilis's birthday and I don't know exactly what's going to go down. Wowa wowa, then next week is graduation. Holy shiiiit.
