FirstEnergy's H. Peter Burg dead Chairman and CEO was on leave for leukemia treatments
FirstEnergy's H. Peter Burg has died, the company, confirmed Tuesday morning. The details and cause of his death are forthcoming.
Burg, who was on leave as FirstEnergy Corp.'s chairman and chief executive, was undergoing treatments for leukemia, a company spokesman said last week.
FirstEnergy Corp. is based in Akron.
