8:58 pm - my 21st
last night was so awesome that I want to add this entry JUST so I never forget it. Okay. So, the day started out by bethany bringing me a bottle of Smirnof RAspberry Twist while I was enjoying my cheerios. At lunch during work, Kathryn ate with me and gave me a brownie that she baked, nad she put a candle in it! After work, I got changed, and Kathryn, Karen Hutchinson and I headed to Betty's dorm. We picked up Dre and Betty, and walked to Unos. Waiting there were about 8 or 9 people (mostly Betty's harvard friends) at a table, and they sang Happy Birthday! They were all Betty's friends cept Rachel Millstein, which was cool. Apparantly, KAthryn and Dre were planning this for a long time.

After we ordered, who shows up but the hobags! Karen Helgeson, Adina, Chris, Meg and Nalyn all showed up to eat with us too! And they brought me a purple pin that said "21 and Terrific" as well as a hat that was made by Chris herself. It was a white hat with LONG streamers on the side and it said "birthday hobag" on the front. And "21" on the back. I felt like a queen, I tell ya! And I didn't even have to pay for dinner.

After dinner, we went to a bar on Mt. Auburn by Betty's dorm. IT was swanky and I don't remember its name. But the minute I walked in the entire bar was shouting "Hobag!" at me. Meg, Chris and I got Lemon Drop Shots, and we actually got kicked out of the bar since we tried to sit in a booth where they were serving food. Then we went to Betty's dorm and hung out at her little party. After that, we headed to the Red Line bar on JFK street.

At the red line, the minute I walked in the door everyone in the bar immediately sang happy birthday! "Happy Birthday Dear Hobag!" We got Amaretto Sours and drank them while talking with Harry from Scotland, who was married. He wanted us to explain to him what "hobag" meant. He was totally drunk, and apparantly married. After that bar we went to Friday's. It wasn't a restaurant, but it was just the bar. The bartender gave me a free "Blue Monday" It was the blue caracao mixed with all the flavored stolis and pineapple juice. I made him give one to betty for free, and I ended up drinking that one too.

Then, the quest began. I decided that I wasn't going to take 21 shots on my birthday. But why not attempt to kiss 21 guys? So, we pulled out my WWJD notebook (no joke, rachel gave it to me as a present) and made a blank list of 21 guys. And so I began with Justin the bartender. He kissed me. Then I asked the guys at the other table. I got up to 7 just in Friday's. It was great. Then, we headed down to Boarder's Cafe, which we didn't end up drinking at, and we went to Fire and Ice instead. Once we were there, I started really feeling drunk. Everyone loved my hat, and I got many more looks for it, and then the guy across the bar bought me a Three Wise Men. I sniffed it accidentally, and whoa! Apparantly it is made of Whisky, Tequilla, and something else. I drank it. WHOA. Then I had a kamikazee shot, and THEN I had a Sex on the beach (free). At this point, I opened up my quest to the entire bar by standing on my stool and SHOUTING for everyone's attention. I needed more kisses, and I got some. I even got one from some other dude who turned 21. On my way out, I exited by shouting "last call for kisses!"

Now, this is where my memory gets extremely fuzzy. We headed to the Hong Kong bar, which was so much fun. And apparantly the drinks were cheap, but I wouldn't know because I didn't pay for anything. At the bar, there was a guy who bought me and my buds 4 kamikazees. I worked the crowd and the bartenders, and got more kisses. Including my #17 Jack. I went up to him and his friends and managed to say "Hi, its my 21st birthday and..." before he dipped me, and deep throated. Apparantly he was trying to take my shirt off, but I had no idea. So Meg and Chris stopped him because they thought we were so drunk that we were goingto fall on the ground. heh. We broke it off, he signed my book, and then he kissed me AGAIN!!! I went around, got some guys drinking a scorpion bowl to kiss me, and also a few bartenders. My #21 bartender was a good one too!

Then there was some chick who kept trying to get us to dance with her.

And this is the part I don't remember at all. I was talking to some BU boys, an they were going to kiss me. But they were arguing about who was going to kiss me first. So this boy did it and his GIRLFRIEND next to him slapped him on the face. So I slapped him on the face too! But with the back of my hand. Then I looked at the girlfriend, and she looked at me, and then I slapped him again HARDER. HA HA HA.

After some stuff I really don't remember, we went to Nalyn's car. Except there were 7 of us in one car. So I layed across the backseat on everyone's lap, trying not to pee. We got there, I peed. I ordered a grilled cheese and french fries, and started drifting off to sleep. But my friends kept yelling at me to wake up! When the food came I GOBBLED it up and then.... went back to sleep. Then we all piled in the car again and went back to wellesley. Cept a cop followed us!

I ended up sleeping in Chris' bed, and woke up drunk at 7, drank water, peed, went to bed till 9:30 again. Then we watched Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, and Anastasia in a row. And I came back to munger @ 3:30.

And I didn't YAK once!

11:45 am - i like never take these things but...
Paranoid: Low
Schizoid: Low
Schizotypal: High
Antisocial: Low
Borderline: Low
Histrionic: High
Narcissistic: Low
Avoidant: Low
Dependent: Low
Obsessive-Compulsive: Low

So, basically. I've got two MAJOR problems. whatever. it was a dumb test.
this was the dumb test

And these are my 'problems':

Schizotypal
Many believe that schizotypal personality disorder represents mild schizophrenia. The disorder is characterized by odd forms of thinking and
perceiving, and individuals with this disorder often seek isolation from others. They sometimes believe to have extra sensory ability or that unrelated
events relate to them in some important way. They generally engage in eccentric behavior and have difficulty concentrating for long periods of time.
Their speech is often over elaborate and difficult to follow.

Histrionic
People with histrionic personality disorder are constant attention seekers. They need to be the center of attention all the time, often interrupting others
in order to dominate the conversation. They use grandiose language to discribe everyday events and seek constant praise. They may dress
provacatively or exaggerate illnesses in order to gain attention. They also tend to exaggerate friendships and relationships, believing that everyone
loves them. They are often manipulative.

12:55 am - ha ha
two funny things:

1. so, today in the mail I got this letter:

Dear Beverly,

Congragulations! Your academic achievements have allowed you the honor of First-Year with distinction! yada yada yada.

Dean Cohen
Class of 2004.

Okay... HA HA HA HA HA. I am so far from being a first-year it isn't funny. But amazingly, I'm a FY w/distinction. Hmmm...

2. We had a golf prospective with us at practice today. she is stayin with vicki. we went to see bridget jones's diary at collins, and then I went to TZE party with Eun and the prospective. We thought it would be nice to show her some campus life. Riiiight. We got to the party, and she kept disappearing, and we found her grinding with guys! It was SOOO funny. I never suspected that the prospective might want t ohave more fun than ME!

Oy.

2:34 pm - wow
I just got locked IN my room.

Bethany had to come down and try and open it from the outside, and it didn't work. And she was just LAUGHING hysterically at me. I was totally trapped... the door handle turned and everything, but it just wouldn't open. Luckilly, Marylou was vacumming on my floor, and she had had experience with this before (apparantly she was locked in a second floor closet for a long period of time this summer). She managed to get me out. And now there is a mainenance worker in my room disassembling my knob trying to figure the problem out.

How traumatic.

10:56 pm - maine!
I went up to maine today with mom alan and betty. I really needed a new pair of tennis shoes (in boston they call those sneakers). So we went to the kittery outlets. WHAT A BOOTY BAD PLACE! In Minnesota, the outlets are in a central area, where they are situated one next to another in a big long or circular strip. That would be efficient, right? Well, apparantly in Maine that is not how things are done. They have to spread all the outlets around a 2 mile radius so you have to walk along busy streets to buy shoes. Whatever.

Anyways, I got a new pair of shoes. And some socks since all the boston socks (short socks) I own are gross from my smelly shoes and golf.

Then, we went to York Beach where my cousin Jimmy lives in his HUGE house on the ocean. And I hadn't been there in 7 years. And we had only been there once. So, we went to the beach and I wanted to find Jimmys house. so, we walked along a mountainous trail to find it. It was in the distance, but we reached 'private property'. so we went back to the car, and I was determined to find it. And we did! So betty and I just walked up and rang the doorbell... and Jimmy and Jayne were there!!!! How cool was that? Their house is BEAUTIFUL. some of the furniture and decor is a little too outdated, but who cares? They live right on the ocean, and they have the largest coastline of all their neighbors. And a guesthouse and a pool... oh my.

So, forall my wellesley friends, it is a GOOD THING I went over there. Because maybe we can go up and visit! Its a sweet pad!

I actually called my dad AND debbie today. They ran in the Twin Cities Marathon, so I thought it would be politeto wish them luck/see how they did. Whatever. I'm still really mad at them. I still get teary at the talk of dogs. Betty and I saw a woman walking a couple shih tzus and I got all teary. My poor gali. I hope she's happy.

We came back to wellesley for dinner, and the four of us, plus my uncle, aunt, david, jeremy, kaylee and michael (the twins) ate dinner at Bertuccis. The twins have gotten so much bigger, and they are SO CUTE.

11:26 am - finkfankfunk
Last night, I went to see Ari's band play (FinkFankFunk) at the Middle-East in Central Square. They were AWESOME! I loved it. There was this one great song, "Sanctify my Pants". They had a large instrumental section, which I wasn't really expecting... trumpet, trombone, alto, tenor, bari, guitar, bass, drums, and keyboard. Plus, the lead singer was awesome (and hot!). I think all my buddies would have loved it! we've gotta go see them again.

Before that, we had a little pre-party in Betty and Dre's room. I didn't drink that much, but I had three or so. It took a while to sink in, since I had had a HUGE DINNER with my mom and Alan (we went to Cafe India on Brattle Street. OMG, it was the best Indian food I'd ever had.) But on the way to central square, I realized that KAtie Ditmore lived by there, and I decided to call her on my cell phone. She thought I was funny and said Ishould come visit sometime (but not that time). Ooops.

1:12 am - booooooooooooootay
today I took my first midterm of my junior year. riiight. It was computer science, and it was at 8:30am. It wasn't bad, surprisingly. I was REALLY glad I studied, even though it was an open-book, open-notes exam. I didn't have as much trouble as those around me, frantically paging through the books since they never went to lecture.

What did I do today? Not much. After golf I had a little picnic dinner with lauren and rachel. then we drank some ciderjack down by the green beach and watched the sun set and the night fall and the bats fly by. So weird... we saw something swimmin towards the shore of gree nbeach, and we didn't know what it was? a dog? a seal? turned out to be some dude (we aren't sure of the sex yet, it was too dark). They just... swam on over, kickboard and all, and went back from where they came. Weird.

Then we went back to Lauren and Rachel's sweet suite and we watched the mole, part of theives, and played pool. That was my night.

I am trying to clean my room, since I will probably see my mom and Alan tomorrow. And they may see my room too. Booty.

2:27 pm - sad :(
Brady was supposed to call me from Scotland at 2pm. She's 25 minutes late. Maybe she got confused and is thinking in Central time? I'll wait till 3.

We are re-working our golf swings in practice for the next two weeks. Which is a good thing, since we are all slicing the ball. IT is a bitch to change up your swing. It takes a lot of time and it hurts your ego. Its kind of like relearning the game all over again. Booty.

And tomorrow is my first midterm! booty again.

Lake day was a lot of fun yesterday. we sold $1000 in shirts! HOLY FUCKING SHIT!

6:20 pm - My stepmom is a bigger bitch than your stepmom.
Ten minutes after I got back from my golf tournament, my dad called. Apparantly, He and Debbie (my stepmom) decided to give away MY dog, Gali. They had three dogs to chose from, and they chose my dog. No- more like SHE chose my dog. I hate her. I have been crying all night long. I am never going to get to see my dog again. Fucking bitch. Of course, it was also my dad's fault he's such a damn pushover. But it was Debbie who turned him into a brainwashed lapdog. And my dad even called me from his cellphone. Probably because if Debbie caught him talking to me on the phone without her permission she would give him hell. And he told me the people were coming to get her in ten minutes. Nice warning time.

Its not fair. She was my dog. I wanted to keep her for when I moved into an apartment after I graduated college. And I told him that. I just can't keep her in the dorm. And my mom and alan can't take her because he's allergic. And now I have no chance to even see Gali again.

31 strokes. Thats how many strokes i improved at the mount holyoke tournament from day 1 to day 2.

In golf terms, that means I sucked. But the rest of the team did great!

But I had SO MUCH FUN. My golf teammates are awesome. First, when we got there friday night we went to eat at booty pizza hut. Then we hung out and watched cable in the hotel. First, we watched the mole (Nic, I'm hooked!) Then we saw "Theives", which is a new show starring John "Uncle Jesse" Stamos. After that we watched "Iron Chef" . I have never seen that before. It was truly great! I loved it! It was all dubbed over in english, and the secret ingredient was "lamb". AAH! what was it the tip was? "The bones will tell you how the lamb wants to be cooked".

On Sat morning, we got up at 6am and teed off at 8. I played with a Minnesotan from Dartmouth. She was a first year from SPA. Really sweet kid. I sucked it up that day.

Then after the game we showered, and went out to chili's. And then watched "Grease" and went to bed... at 9:50!

Then, today we golfed at 7am and got up at 6. and I played with a "Davis Scholar" type person from Mount Holyoke. I got stuck in the twosomes this weekend. Anyways, I did a little better, but not GOOD by any means.

this weekend at Mount Holyoke for a golf tournament. Wont be back till... sunday. and my mom will be arrivin in boston soon. too bad i'll miss her.

on yom kippur eve, we went to services at this wacky reconstructionist chevura. it was wild. pretty much full of hippies and lesbians. and people would sit on cushions on the floor and meditate. IT was pretty... spiritual. And yom kippur is over and i am fed.

2:17 pm - booty
is my new phrase.

I haven't updated in awhile. Riiiight. Whats new? Well, yesterday was our FIRST EVER wellesley golf tournament! Out of 5 teams we came in second! That is super good. Mt. Holyoke was first, and then us, followed by Babson, Williams, and Bowdoin. It was super hot yesterday, and I got really sunburnt. And my socks stink. And I am mysteriously very stiff and sore today. It was only 18 holes, but they were LONG. And I think I was a little dehydrated, so that didn't help my muscles at all. And I have blisters now.

Last night, Lauren, Meghan, Betty and I went to Jillians and played videogames and pool. It was fun, and Lauren and Meghan had never played before! We were going to go to a party, but I was so tired. So we came home.

And this morning Meghan and I were going to Natick's lookout farm to pick apples. But little did we realize that the farm is a HUGE commercial place that millions of people go to and the parking lot is huge and crowded. We nixed that idea and went to dunkins.

7:42 pm - what is it that everybody has that some pirates and thieves try to take?

Da Booty.

Wow, I haven't updated in a long time. And all my last posts say "wow, I haven't updated in along time". Riiiight.

Whats up? Not a whole lot. The same ol. Ya know, a little golf, a little class, a little mass world destruction. Nothing new.

I have finally arranged all my schedules so I can make things work... I think. I had to drop a class for golf practice.

And thats about it.

Tonight I am going over to Lauren and Rachel's sweet suite to have some jello shots. they made 52! Niiiice.
