hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii Whoa, ok, so someone has been very bad about posting in her livejournal. :) ANyways, I'm psychotically busy. Too much to do, too little time. Rehearsals, operas, classes, AH! the woe! Yeah, i'm nuts. I miss ya'll... I'll be in Michigan from around May 20th until the end of June, so I hope that we get in some serious quality bonding time together. ALSO, you guys are ALWAYS welcome to my apartment. Yay. SOOOOOO, I;d better go to L'enfant et les Sortileges rehearsal (it's like Alice in Wonderland, but French and an opera... it's cool). Anyways, must go. Take care, guys. wich me luck no my jury, finals, opera, chorus, and finding a man! | Friday, April 5th, 2002 | 2:17 pm |
back in the 'hood :) Hey guys... just thought I would let all of you know that I will be back in the Metro Detroit area this weekend. YAY. Soooooo, give me a call and we can try to hang tonight (Friday, or maybe early Sunday... I'll be completely busy Saturday with my cousin's wedding.) Anyways, I'll be around tonight probably 9-ish. Let's hope there are no delays, etc. But we should hang (Josh, I can;t believe you are in Texas!) Whatever :) Email me if you need my number. | Sunday, March 10th, 2002 | 2:56 pm |

That's about it. I am READY for freaking spring break, though. HH! i.e. Hilton Head. ANYWAYS, life is good... I just wanted to sya hi to everyone... but nothing is new. Hope you all are enjoying the beginning of spring. It's great here. ANyways, take care everyone and enjoy life!!!!!! | Wednesday, February 20th, 2002 | 1:03 am |

hello all you people in lj land Dude, it has been soooo freaking long since I have posted. Hmm, i dont really have that much to say. All is well in Baltimore, it's sunny and fair outside and the weekly sirens are sounding and the RA is practicing some really annoying piece in the lounge. Anyways, I'm great. Life is good. I'm in the Cosi fan Tutte chorus.... so that is fun despite having to deal with Lisa Loeb's brother. Next week we dont have classes due to the auditioning prospective students. YES! AND, Saturday is the performance of the Kaddish which should be fabulous. I will never think of Leonard Bernstein in the same way after singing this crazy piece, but it's so cool... just a little atonal. I'm also very excited bc Vessela is coming to visit. YAY! I just did this crazy fun piece by a composer here that was based on Haus music... and I have another composer's piece that I'll be doing in April-- "Five Pieces of Death, Love, and Longing". Soon we'll find out what parts we got in the opera potpourri, hopefully i get something cool. It's a Ravel opera... very fun. Anyways, today I only have one more class (piano, boohoo) and then a three hour long chorus rehearsal with the orchestra. AH! But that's ok. I think i'll bake some magic bars in honor of Mardi Gras which is tomorrow. SOOOOOO, eat lots tomorrow and enjoy yourselves! | Wednesday, January 16th, 2002 | 9:42 am |

blah blah blah Alright, it's time to go back to Baltimoe. Home is nice and I finally got to see Vess.. but it's not the same...just a visit. Oh, well. Parents are getting on my nerves and i can;t do the shi-at that i want to do or would normally do. Musicians are strange, strange people, so therefore, it's hard to be one while at home. GRR. AND there are some people who i can;t even hang with while i'm here and that is genuinely saddening. C'est la vie. Anyways, at least I'm making money. that's right, kids-- it's time for finals!!! Oy...I am such a master at wasting time. It is sick. At least I don;t have a slew of classes today... just a lot of work. I h ave to finish writing my fugue and then do a take home test for Psychology. Exciting. AND I'm singing at the dept. recital today. Coolness. I cqn;t wait to go home. Actually, to my parents NEW place! It should be cool. They are moving on the 17th. Anyways, let me know when it's Saturday... I'll be much saner then. :) well, maybe not until Wednesday after my last final of the semester. Anyways, must go.... | Thursday, November 15th, 2001 | 1:51 pm |

MERI! don;t think i haven;t forgotten about that email!! :P | Sunday, November 4th, 2001 | 10:24 pm |
ohm Hey guys... long time no write. ANYWAYS, things are good. I went to church for the first time in along time (at my own will) and it felt really great. I'm so glad I went. I have a much better sense of inner peace at the moment than I've had in a LOOOOONG time. I had THE BEST shopping experience yesterday. Lord and Taylor's-- take 80% off of the lowest ticket price. DAMN! I got some REALLY cute stuff. Very excited am I. I don;t really have homework, so maybe i'll go to sleep while I have the chance. Love and miss ya'll. Meri, i hope you come home for Christmas, if not, I will call you. MWAH!!!! Current Mood: peacefulCurrent Music: Oasis-- Acquiesce | Sunday, October 28th, 2001 | 2:08 am |
"I'm outta here!" Yes kids, that's right, I have bought everybody's favorite movie, NOWHERE!!! Meri and JAy, we will HAVE to watch this together ASAP. It was on sale at B-buster for $2.99!!! I also got So I Married an Axe Murderer. Yay. | Thursday, October 11th, 2001 | 2:26 pm |
Just for you, Meri So anyways, Meri is making me feel guilty for not writing in this thing, so here goes. Yep, nothing is new with me. I have a nasty little cold and am doctoring myself so I get healthy SOON! I am attempting to take a nap and get some rest... but it's hard to do so when you can;t breathe through your nose. Ih, well. Anyways, there are no love interests in my life at the moment. The guys here at Peabody are just not for me. AND i don;t have time for that crap. :) hehe. Hmm, I'm kind of at a loss for things to say. OH! The requiem performance was today. It was amazing. I'm kind of glad that i got to sit in the audience and listen for once, but i did miss out by not singing it. Oh, well, it's better for my health this way. Can I just say that john Shirley-Quirk is tha man? Oy. SOOOO GOOD! Well, I must be off to bed for a nappy-nap. do mi sol mi do Ah... life has been pretty alright lately. I keep having these mini crises each weekend, though, and it's definitely getting old. BLEH! Anyways, that whole Thursday Noon thing went really well... i was quite pleased AND i got a recording of it which i did not pay for. hehehe. Today, I have a lot of time for myself, which is really exciting. I can do some homework, take a walk, and maybe even sleep!!! Anyways, I feel the need to go shopping. I need some new things... too bad there's no Lord and Taylor or Lane Bryant in walking distance. boohoo. Oh, well. I'll be home relatively soon and have to get to a mall then. Well, i'm off to be productive. Current Mood: calmCurrent Music: Joni Mitchell- Blue | Thursday, September 20th, 2001 | 10:45 am |
butterflies in my stomach! Whoo. So, deep breath in, hold it, let it out slowly...... I have to sing at today's Thursday noon recital which is fun and exciting.... but also a bit WHOO, for lack of a better word. Thursday noon is a required class here at peabody. Basically, all the undergrads except seniors go to it and are bored to death, blah blah blah. But i have to sing today, so I am DETERMINED taht they won't be bored. I will do my absolute best. I've got to get all pumped (but not too much so i don;t go sharp. hehe) anyways, i have to get all dolled up soon and go to it, but i'm just biding the time now. I have so much music to learn, it's nuts yet exciting. Ah, well... must go. Ciao | Saturday, September 8th, 2001 | 3:01 pm |
long time no write!!! Wow...it has been quite a while since i've actually written in this thing. I've been wrapped up in my life in baltimore, i guess. I've been fairly busy with classes, auditions, etc. We should be finding out soon what the opera casts are, so that's exciting. HOPEFULLY i'm in SOMETHING. If not, i can find other ways to keep myself busy musically. Bleh...so far i've been having fun. Last night was good stuff. WEnt to Leah and Joe's apt. and had some good times. We were so loud... but what do you expect from a bunch of singers? Anyways, my life at the moment is really not all taht interesting... just hanging out, walking to the harbor, enjoying ethnic cuisine, practicing, oh and i got a church job!!! YAY! Fifty bucks a week for just a few hours of my time. works for me. Take care, ya'll. I hope it's colder where ya'll are than it is down here south of the Mason-Dixon line. | Friday, August 24th, 2001 | 12:34 pm |
scarred for life You know, as much as i enjoy working at Lane Bryant, i dislike it as well. This old woman comes into the store looking to buy some new bras. So, she LIFTS UP her top to show me what kind it is that she's wearing. (frighteningly enough, that has happened on occasion before this, so i could deal). Then, she calls me over to the fitting room and opens the door to show me how this new one fits and proceeds to play with the cup which is too big. All you can do in that situation is pretnd like you're not cringing and say, "I'll bring over the 48DD for you." She didn;t even buy anything. And to top it all off, another customer called me "ma'am". Great. Oy Current Mood: goodCurrent Music: What would brian boitano do (i can;t spell) | Thursday, August 23rd, 2001 | 2:57 pm |
