Alot to write about Hello.. Sorry its been awhile since a decent update.. Well Im still waiting on an alternator for my car.. ordered and paid for one to only have it arrive late than guaranteed delivery time, and damaged. Now I have to wait until UPS pays the company who then issues me a new one.. Talk about sucks.
Im thinking of going to a Liniux convention here in detroit.
I couldnt believe that Breast shot of Janet Jackson.. But then it was fixed from the start.
I will have more details and pics of my car in a week or so when it gets fixed.
Still trying to get more hours and my raise from work.
Im pissed at turbotax for changing the rules of their tax freedom project. I dont qualify for a freebie anymore.
I saw Radio on DVD over the weekend.. I recommend it 100% |

Oh Captain My Captain I am very saddened by the death of Bob Keeshan, Captain Kangaroo or as I called him for years thanks to my father and my inability to pronounce Kangaroo at 3, Captain Kaya. I never realized how much the Captain taught me and what quality lessons he demonstrated for us on the television so early in the morning. I can still remember being in front of the tv with a bowl of oatmeal or cereal and watching the Captain, Mr. Moose, and Mr. Green Jeans. |

More 12 Causes of Christmas Afternoon Kids ProgramsFrom their Website: n every community, boys and girls are left to find their own recreation and companionship in the streets. An increasing number of children are at home with no adult care or supervision. Young people need to know that someone cares about them. Boys & Girls Clubs offer that and more. Club programs and services promote and enhance the development of boys and girls by instilling a sense of competence, usefulness, belonging and influence. Boys & Girls Clubs are a safe place to learn and grow -- all while having fun. It is truly The Positive Place For Kids. Many kids need something like this.. Literacy ProgramsFrom their Website: Reading Is Fundamental, Inc. prepares and motivates children to read by delivering free books and literacy resources to those children and families who need them most. All RIF programs combine three essential elements to foster children's literacy: reading motivation, family and community involvement, and the excitement of choosing free books to keep. RIF's accomplishments are due in part to the generous support of the U.S. Department of Education, corporations, foundations, community organizations, and thousands of individuals. Not all of these causes depend on funding from Uncle Sam, please keep these causes in mind this Christmas Season |

More 12 Causes of Christmas Toys For TotsFrom their website Local toy collection campaigns begin in October and last until December 22. Toy distribution normally takes place on December 23 and 24. Members of the community drop on new, unwrapped toys in collection boxes positioned in local businesses. Coordinators pick up these toys and store them in a central warehouses where the toys are sorted by age and gender. At Christmas, Coordinators, with the assistance of local social welfare agencies, church groups and other local community agencies, distribute the toys to the needy children of the community. Over the years, marines have established close working relationships with social welfare agencies, churches and other local community agencies which are well qualified to identify the needy children in the community and play important roles in the distribution of the toys. While Toys for Tots Coordinators organize, coordinate and manage the campaign, the ultimate success depends on the support of the local community and the generosity of the people who donate toys. There are many Kids who would be lacking Christmas fun without great folks like the Marines Toys for Tots. Mothers / Students Against Drunk DrivingFrom their Website: MADD is not a crusade against alcohol consumption - MADD's mission is to stop drunk driving, support the victims of this violent crime, and prevent underage drinking. I think that said everything.. Many die every day from drunk driving.. Too Many |

More of the 12 Causes of Christmas Sorry for the delay.. Some computer problems kept me from updating this list. Meals On WheelsFrom their website: The Meals On Wheels Association of America represents those who provide congregate and home-delivered meal services to people in need. Our mission is to provide visionary leadership and professional training, and to develop partnerships that will ensure the provision of quality nutrition services. There are many seniors and shut ins who depend on this service. Mentoring like Big Brothers Big SistersHaving a Big Brother or Big Sister can be an enriching experience for a young person. Youth development experts agree that, in addition to their parents, children need additional supportive, caring adults in their lives. Big Brothers Big Sisters works closely with parents and guardians to match every child with the right Big. Every potential volunteer is screened, trained, and supervised, and professionals in youth development support each match to help ensure that the relationship will be safe and rewarding for everyone involved. Bigs and Littles share everyday activities: playing sports, seeing movies, cooking, going over schoolwork, visiting museums, washing the car, taking walks, volunteering in their communities, or just hanging out together. National research has shown that the shared experiences between Bigs and Littles have a direct and lasting impact on young people's lives. |

Another New Toy and more fun So I purchased me an Ipod Clone made by a company called Classic. Holds 10 gigs of music.. Its alot of fun to listen to. I need to figure out how to get everything in order, the random function works with all of the folders... I guess its going to be time to read the manual.
I hear snow is coming to town in the next day or so.. I am so enthused.. Last thing I need right now..
The new vehicle is with the Mechanic right now getting some preventive work done. I will have pics and more info on what it is upon its return.
Work has been going hectic, I barely have enough time to sit down for any leisure. However I have been getting compliments on my work, Its almost time for my yearly review and the end of the year is soon, so thats something to be happy about.
Worked John Mayer and Aerosmith/Kiss this past weekend, if you have a chance to see either tours, I recommend either of these.. Both fun nights.
I have something planned for the 12 days of christmas, however i havent had any time to do research.. if this happens it will be the 12 working days before christmas and this will just be something nice and simple.. not what you imagine..
Im not happy that my favorite was voted off Survivor last week, there goes my motivation to watch this week. |

Interesting News Hey there Everyone, Sorry I havent written in awhile.. It has been hectic at work with the new boss and everything but there have been some new developments..
1) I am working on getting a new car.. Loan app goes in today.
2) My boss told me Thursday that my unpaid hour lunch is now a paid 15 minute lunch and that I have been authorized to come in to work the entire time that the dealer is open.. So that means that I will be working 2 - 12 hour days a week and almost 50 hours total.
3) I have my own extension... YAY... I was working to get this for along time.. I am now x253!!! First Voicemail, now all I have to do is wait for a business card! LOL
4) The plan is for me to phase out my current physical work and phase in more work as more of an assistant and such and guide/assist someone who would take over the normal duties that I do now. Things have been hectic right now as we are starting back up and everything and the future looks promising. We are starting to sell cars at a slower pace, but when it picks up, it will be more than busy.
Of course I am not going into details on the car yet, its agreed in principal and everything so thats cool.. Now if the loan app goes through and some simple repairs done by my mechanic, then everything will be kick ass.. Lets just say that this is not the norm what I am purchasing.. Maybe that is the reason why. |
