It's been awhile since I updated my journal. Call me SLACKER.
Volleyball occupies all of my free time. That is so sad. This is the 3rd weekend in a row with a tournament. I had a player quit last night, no big loss. I hate when players quit, but this one had attitude and I was not about to be forced to give a slacker play time. To flippin bad, go play for someone else. The girls will be so much happier without her too.
Tomorrow is scrap day!! whoo hoo. Then we leave for Salinas for a tournament. Talk about a drive to no where. Damn. The girls better win this weekend!
We put an offer on a house! I can't believe we are this close to being homeowners. That just freaks me out. The stress from this whole thing is going to kill me I swear. The guy counter offered tonight, but we are countering back tomorrow. ugh. So since it wasn't resolved by the weekend, my guess is that we may lose it. But that is ok, plenty of others out there, we just started looking.
I hate that John has to work Friday nights now. I swear I never see him. Hopefully once volleyball is over and we get moved things will settle in. That would be nice to have a normal life again, even if it is just for a little while.

9:37 am - it's still cold!

Another long week. I stayed home Weds sick, I was just not feeling well, super bad headache. I was sick most of the week, but stayed in the hell hole anyways.
This weekend has been a rest weekend. i did NADA yesterday. I really needed that. We did go over to Cande and Richards for tacos and games last night so that was fun. Today we are going to Bryan and Tami's for the superbowl and scrapbooking. I'm truly looking forward to that.
I've been spending a lot of time updating the club webpage. i think i'm burnt out on all that now. i don't want to see anymore clipart sites ever again. EVER.

i have the best husband in the world. yesterday for my birthday he video taped himself singing happy birthday with a special message for me. this with the cake he left out for me. all because he had to work last night and i didn't get to see him. it made me cry i thought it was so sweet. then off to volleyball where my girls gave me flowers and cupcakes. that was really nice.
work has been hellish, but what else is new. i so don't ever want to be there it seems. must pay all the bills though.

8:58 am - i always forget
|
i'm on this damn computer every day and i always forget to update my journal. i've been hard at work on our volleyball club webpage. i think it is looking pretty darn neat.
today i'm off to christies for some scrapbooking. we have been spending a lot of time with them. See, they have no friends now. Now they are just like us. I guess the difference is that John and I aren't out trying to make friends, we are happy just spending time with our little family. We went out bowling last night. UGHH. We went to Country Club as all other places in Sacramento had leagues. Yeah, it was GLOW BOWL night. Kids everywhere, loud music. I mean, it was kind of cool, but they didn't stay long. Oh well, John and I stayed and Tyler had a blast helping mommy and daddy bowl. it was fun.
tournament tomorrow. in alameda of all places. i hate long drives damnit.

3:23 pm - so it's been a week
|
well over a week since i updated my journal. it's be a wild week too.
brian got fired from the church because the pastor is an ASSHOLE. yeah, he is. he fired brian because on weds morning he called brian and brian didn't call him back weds night. so yeah, on Thursday morning, the pastor calls and LEAVES A VOICEMAIL telling him he is terminated. WTF is up with that. whatever, i won't go back to a place where they let a man like that teach god's word. whatever.
so our crop was held at Christie's house on Saturday. It was a little cramped, but it was pretty cool. i got several pages done.
Sunday was our tournament. the girls kicked butt! they started out seed 33 out of 86 and finished the day at 19. In 2 weeks they'll have the opportunity to play seeds 2-21 so we should move up again.
off of work early today. i had a dr. appointment. YUCK. i hate going to the dr.
now i'm home, i'm cold and tired, i think i'll lay down with tyler and take a nap.

8:00 pm - oh what a week
|
i hate work,i really do. more drama, same old stuff though. thank god it was a short week. we had a blast on new year's, went to brian and christie's house, got drunk and played board games with bryan/tami, ron/tiffany. i must remember that it has been AGES since i drank, yet i still had the whole bottle of midori to myself. not good. no one got sick, it was a blast, no kids for once.
went shopping today, went to the nike outlet, they did not have the bags i wanted to get the girls, got tyler some shoes instead. that was about it. oh we went grocery shopping too. but we are broke until Friday, so no real shopping was done unfortunately.
waiting for john to get home, i hate his new shift. 11-9, ugh. dinner is waiting to go in the oven and i am starving.

i am not in a cleaning mood today, thank god the house is clean except this room, and it has a door that locks even. john is off m-f this week, so he gets the laundry damnit. i thought about going to the nike outlet, i need some new shoes and i wanted to check out their bags and see how much they were. a while back they had duffle bags, black/red/white for like 10 bucks. i was thinking about buying one for each of my girls if i can get them that cheap. all the catalogs have them for 30/each and that is too rich for my blood. there is nothing on tv, i'm so bored, but i have no energy to do a damn thing!

10:33 am - productive!
|
i was productive yesterday. i bought new red/green storage containers and packed up all our christmas stuff. now i will be able to tell which containers have the xmas stuff, i don't know why i never did that before.
i also moved furniture around yesterday. i put 1/2 the sectional in the dining area and moved the bed into the living room. now there is room to walk and i put both mattresses in there so it's easier to get out of bed. i like this set up so much better. before i always felt like we were walking on the bed all the time.
i was up really late last night, today i'm a little tired. must go buy a paper to get my michael's coupon though since i hear they won't have another for 3 more weeks. i have a gift certificate that will not wait in my wallet for 3 weeks to be spent! john works 11-9 today, i'm going to be really lonely. :(

wow, tyler and i set out at 8:00 this morning and we just got home. it's not like we went to tons of places either.
we did drive all the way out to the raley's in orangevale looking for more santa stuff. i hit the raley's by my work yesterday and hit the motherload i tell you. I bought 5 snowmen at 50% off, but i was really hoping for the large ones they had out in October/November, which the store in Orangevale had soooooooooo many of. so we get there, NO christmas stuff, just 1 little basket full. and everything was only 10 cents in that basket, but it was all garbage. oh well, it's not like i need more stuff. then off to michael's, only bought some ribbon which matches my snowmen plates, i have no clue what i'll use that for. then to walmart, but 5 more rubbermaid tubs to pack all my stuff up until next year. hopefully we will be in our OWN home next year when i unpack it all. then to bed, bath and beyond where i heard a rumor they had debbie mum stuff, didn't find anything. so off to target in roseville since i hit up all the other targets. seems that the target in citrus heights was the only target to carry my dishes this year. but i did get some really cute snowmen towels and a rug. then to the scrapbook store to spend my gift cert which i did easily. i bought some more diecuts for my sizzix. i can't wait til our crop on the 12th. then we hit up mervyn's, last year they carried debbie mum stuff too, but the store in roseville had nothing and they had LONG LONG lines that I was not about to stand in. Hit the Raley's by our house, got some bells on clearance and some milk. now i'm trying to convince the child he must nap, which is exactly what i feel like doing, but i need to start putting stuff away so it doesn't stay out until valentines day. all in all, i feel productive, even though all i did was spend money. i got stuff to get organized, now the key is just doing so.

i'm feeling a little lonely tonight. john and tyler are already in bed. i've surfed the net for like 2 hours. so yeah, now what. i hate it that john doesn't work the same schedule as me sometimes. it's nice for a few nights, so i can have some personal space, but for the most part, it just sucks. here it is Friday, it's 930 and he is in bed. ugh. i guess maybe i'll go watch a movie or something. i refuse to go to bed this early.

so work SUCKED today. the tech i had all those problems with last month, is back up to her old tricks. god i can't wait for rob to get back from vacation. he will be so pleased with me next week. at least it wasn't my fault this time, i didn't do anything.
nothing to do this weekend, which is really nice actually. i may do some scrapbooking, we'll have to see. i want to buy a digital camera and maybe a new printer too. god that would be nice.

thank goodness, christmas is over. i love spending time with the family, but enough is enough. i am sick, coughing like mad. it doesn't even feel like a day off. we were going to go see a movie, but i'm sick. we are supposed to go to the kings game, doubt that will happen, which means $65 down the drain damnit. oh well. tyler made out BIG TIME this year, i must remember not to spoil everyone since no one spoils me.

5:51 am - oh what a week

busy busy week. ugh. but, all the shopping is done, at least i think it is. my dinner party tonight, which started out as 4 people is now 12 people. i'm a little stressed. but the house is clean, except for the child's room which we will do today. i mean, the house is REALLY clean. i cleaned everything damnit, even washed the damn walls. it feels nice to have a super clean house.
My brother is here, we went to mom's to see him yesterday. he got Monday off, so they will be over here for christmas morning. i think casey is going to spend the night with us, so that way when the boys wake up Santa will have been here.
i have to work today. at least it is only 4 hours. then i must go grocery shopping for dinner and breakfast tomorrow. it's going to be a busy day. I have SOOO many presents that need to be wrapped, and with company, it will be after midnight by the time it is done. i should have done it last night, like when i was laying in bed wide awake at 1am. i finally got up at almost 3 and took some allergy pills to help knock me out.
christmas is here. wow.

john called in sick today, we have all had this cold for awhile now. ick. we got our tree FINALLY, got it all decorated, Tyler was too cute putting the ornaments on. i went and did a bunch more shopping. spent another $200 today. damn. when i'm in the mood to spend money watch out. i got everyone done except Mom, Richard, Sky/Jen, Casey. WHOO. thank goodness. but, since i have a busy week ahead, i'll be shopping at lunch.
