I'm interested in learning some DJ techniques and I'm not quite sure where to start since nobody I know has DJ experience.. We recently purchased a set of Numark TT-1520 direct drive turntables and a Numark DM1001x mixer along with monitors, and we have a few techno vinyls.. But from here on out we are clueless. If you guys have any idea on where I should start, drop me a line, eh? Thanks!

I'm interested in learning about being a DJ. The only thing is: I dont know much about it. I see that there are some actual dj's in here, and I was wondering if you people could teach me a thing or two on about it. Mostly what I wonder about is the equiptment I need and what the equiptment actually does.
My inspirations for going to the electronic side of music are the crystal method and orgy. Especially Orgy. I also admire linkin park, but not as much as the others.

What's up everybody? I've been really busy lately, working with Rich Morganstern of RLM Productions and DJ Chino. I got a new mixer, a Numark Matrix 3. well i went for the try outs for a new club called the zone. and as i thought i bombed ..lol ... j/k i got my weekly slot there on wednesdays. so i happy. im kinda hurt that my so called girlfriend was too busy 6to come when she knew i was going. i know ... i know ... being in north hampton was more inporant. man that really hurt, but on the good side of things... at least i know whats up now. i will be at the zone wever wendsdays. 80 worthington st. springfield mass .. phone is :205-2986 and it will be from 6pm till 2 am so come out and show your support!!!!
