I recieved so much positive feedback about my last piece, Nightspirit. All the lovely comments meant so much to me.That encouragement is grately appreciated. I just wanted to let you all know that I've made signed prints of 'Nightspirit' available for just $11:98 from the link below: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ![]() And as well as painting a piece for Valentines day, I'm going to put a special package of limited edition prints together. It will combine four pieces-'Parted Ones', 'Oceanstar', 'Pool of desire', along with the next piece-and I'll make that available towards the end of the week, in time for Cupid to draw his arrow. Bright Blessings! |

Have you lain awake in the middle hours, cold sweat clinging to your restless frame, your mind awash with the festering unspeakables, the voices that you dare not speak to anyone, even to yourself, and yet which find you when you are alone in the humble dark...? 'Nightspirit' is the drawing for my latest piece. You can bid on it at this link: Nightspirit illustration ![]() http://www.davidgoughart.com |

I wanted to share my latest piece with you all. It's the second painting I've done portraying my vision of 'Spring-Heeled Jack'. A dark, ragged figure, jumping from rooftop to rooftop, lost in a world forgotten in time, the temptation to revisit him ,complete the canvas, was all too easy, because I couldn't help but see paralels in my life. Welcome to 'The Divined' ![]() He's up for auction at eBay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi Bright Blessings, ~David http://www.davidgoughart.com |

Do you ever have somedays that don't seem made for creative pursuits? I've been trying to make the wing to go in a set with another I already quasi-finisihed and I keep fucking it in different ways from snipping a hole in the middle to cutting the pieces different sizes. I lost all of my hot glue sticks for about 20 minutes and then found them all. Maybe I'm not feeling my fae spark right now... | ||||||

I went to the doctor today to tell him what ails me. "Doc," I said, "I have a problem." "What sort of problem?" he replied. ( A wing-making problem. I can't stop! ) |

New Victorian Gothic Christmas Painting I've decided to begin a new series called 'Fallen Angels'. More character based than my other work, these will be the dark visages of forgotten souls, lost between realms of time, and the first in the series is a piece called 'Purity' loosely informed by the Victorian Christmas story-'the little match girl' ![]() You can bid on this piece starting from $20 or a bin of $350 from 10pm at the following link: PURITY 2005 Calender I am also entirely happy to announce that my David Gough art 2005 calenders are also available from just $15: David Gough Art Calender 2005 ![]() My faeries are the perfect stocking filler, in more ways than one;) ~David http://www.davidgoughart.com http://stores.ebay.com/davidgoughar |

I'm auctioning my newest fairy piece, Vestige. I'm very happy with this one. Not only was I able to use a gorgeous model (the beautiful and talented fairy artist Nedda Shishegar, ![]() This fae is a lost token of a forgotten time, stumbling across a post apocalyptic wasteland to find a last germ of life, and whereas in generations past, she might have mused on a traditional toadstool, now she perches beneath the ominous shadow of a mushroom cloud. This piece is a token of the dark times we live in, and a foreshadow of the times ahead. ![]() 'Vestige' auction I'm also offering my last piece Skyflower as a print in my store for $7. ![]() 'Skyflower' print Thanks! ~David http://www.davidgoughart.com http://stores.ebay.com/davidgoughar |

I thought I'd share with you the tutorial for the "Green Tea Party" Wings that I put together for the HGTV website to correspond with my demo segments on their show "Crafters Coast 2 Coast" airing in the Spring. Enjoy, and keep in mind that these steps are very simple and can be done by absolutely anyone and with infinite variety - it's all in the decoration that makes these so magical!!! ( Green Tea Party Wings: Tutorial ) If you'd like to read about the actual taping and the HGTV experience in general, you're welcome to visit me at bonnytymepyrate, OR, my online forum at EAOnline. |

My latest is a literal interprutation of my fiances name. Pualani means 'Flower from heaven' and I wanted not only to honour my deep feelings for her and her beauty, but also to portray her as a powerful lunar elemental, who like that evening star, is a guide and hold over my lifes blood. You can bid on 'Skyflower' from the link below: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ![]() |

My photobucket account went nuts. I'll try Village Photos instead. The pictures are muttled and I'm not sure how much bandwidth I have left, but here's hoping. I took some pictures of my halloween costume thus far. I look like crap (it's 2am) and the costume is unfinished. But mid-production shots are fun. If anyone can guess what I'm supposed to be, I'll be very happy. ( Pictures behind the cut ) |

Well, I finally got around to posting both pair of wings on E-bay. I might post other pieces of my costume, like my head dress, up for bidding too. I started the bidding prices fairly low, and decided to post the links up here for easy access in case anyone wanted to place a bid. If these things don't sell *soon*, I don't know what I'll do. 1. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi 2. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi |

Hi everyone ^.^ I'm new to the community, and I thought a small introduction would be appropriate. My name is Brittany, I'm from Ohio. I've been studying Wicca for about 6 years, and I love faeries and dragons and things of that nature. I've recently started making my own wings. I made them for a faerie costume I intended to wear to a Renaissance Festival, but I ended up wearing something else entirely ^.^;; I'm actually thinking about selling my wings and possibly even some of the accessories in my costume, but I'd like a few opinions first. Any constructive criticism is welcome :) You can see them on my album, I have two pair: 1.http://f2.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/lild 2.http://f2.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/lild |

Hi everyone! My name is Cat, and I'm a 19 year old college student and I LOVE wearing wings... I'm basically one of those people who thinks everyone should wear them >_> All the time <_< But anyway, my question is: I'm shopping for a new pair of feathered angel/bird wings, and I'm looking for something other than the same ones I keep seeing in every shop and online store (feathered, but kinda flat looking, not too sturdy) I'm looking for something more sculpted, a bit more lifelike, but not too huge...Can anyone point me in the right direction to someplace I might be able to find something like that? |
