Cultists on the Loose

If you're in the Los Angeles area this weekend, get off yer arse for a few hours and come to the Creation Grand Slam Sci-Fi Convention in Pasadena. Why, you ask?

Wil sez:

My friend Kathleen and I met up in Old Town last night and totally made a punk rock, DIY-style 'zine out of our work at The Cult of the One Eyed Cat. We'll have them at the convention, too. We didn't make that many, though, so you should start lining up now, and then fight over them. That would be totally punk rock. \m/.

That's right, the first-ever, super-limited-edition, hardcore punk rawk indie print version of selected entries from The Cult of the One Eyed Cat, with bonus illustrations by our newest cult contributor Alex, will be available at the convention. These handmade creations will probably have some ink smudges from the photocopies and maybe even some Guinness stains from when we stayed up too late stapling them together, ensuring that each copy is unique. Wil will be on hand to sign them, and I will be hovering around as well, probably standing near Chewbacca, a Ferengi, and Anthony Michael Hall.

We didn't make very many copies, so hurry your sweet little asses down to the Pasadena Convention Center this weekend and get your grubby little hands on one.

Letters I wrote in my head

Sometimes when I am going about my day, driving around Los Angeles, running errands, or stopping off to satisfy my caffeine addiction, I encounter people who inspire me to write silent missives to them in my mind. I feel that it's probably best for my physical safety and my targets' mental well-being that these letters stay silent, which of course means that I should post them on the internet for your viewing pleasure. You'll thank me later.
