Welcome To The Mad Prophet's Place: Some of you who have been here before can tell (I fucking well hope you can anyway,) that I've completely redesigned the site. I tore this fucker down and built it again from scratch. I think it looks pretty damn good myself. I've got a new host too. Host Department is lookin' to be a pretty cool host. They only give ya 10 Megs of space, but you get unlimited bandwidth and no ads. It's a tradeoff. And one I'm perfectly willing to make, since this is a pretty small site anyway and I can keep it well below ten megs as long as I don't try to add on any stupid, useless shit, which I never do anyway. In Other News: The Blog is doing rather well I think, I'm up to about 25-30 hits a day (and some of you fuckers better be stoppin' by here goddamnit!) I know, I know, that's hardly a spectacular amount of hits, but I've got regular readers and people are linking to me. Plus, I was gone for over two weeks. So I'm happy with it. If I'm still at 30 hits a day in a month or two I'll be pissed off. More importantly though, because of the release that the blog affords me, I'm not shouting at the TV nearly as much. Hardly at all really. Actually, I don't watch the stupid fucking thing quite as much either. I could never give up PBS and Comedy Central though. On Recording: I still don't have the VS880, so I won't be recording anything here for a while. But I did meet this dude with his own home studio. I played him a few songs and he was fairly impressed, so he wants me to come over and record some stuff. Problem is, I'm a fucking control freak and I really want to do this myself.... I don't know what to do. I really need to get a demo done and fuck knows when I'll get that VS880 outta goddamn North Carolina, where it's probably packed away in it's case somewhere, not being used. AAAAARRRGH!!!! I'll figure something out. And Finally: Please, please, please Buy A Print so I can have a little extra money to buy rice, chicken and veggies with. I'm not askin' for a handout or anything, I'm just askin' ya to buy one of the really cool prints of my work at POD Gallery. I'm really low on funds lately. (Even a minimalist can starve.) This modem is expensive (for me anyway.) C Bryan Lavigne
