When It's Time to Change, It's Time to Rearrange

This is turning into a month of endings and new beginnings in the blogosphere:

• After a year-long run with some top-notch posts, Dwight Meredith of Politics, Law and Autism has called it quits. If there were a way to send him a standing o’ through the Internet, I would give him one now. Let's hope that he comes back to the habit soon.
• Ted Barlow — whose blog had started to look dead to the world — joined the Crooked Timber keiretsu this week, and got off to a fast start with what should have been the last word on Cruz Bustamante and MEChA.
• Starting work at The American Prospect means more money for Matthew Yglesias — but the trade-off is that we get no more political posting at his blog. Look for his work at the good ship Tapped from here on out; he'll be behind the posts with brilliant policy analysis, discussions of obscure philosophers or random references to t.A.T.u.
• Esta Jarrett ditched the desk job at Media General last month and joined the seminary — but she'll have you know that she's not about to become some sort of preacher, thank you very much. Glad to get that cleared up. ;)
