Nine years ago with the founding of America's Future Foundation (AFF), conservatives and libertarians came together on neutral territory. Through our website, magazine, roundtables, and social events, people interested in advancing the values of freedom and liberty have an opportunity to argue the issues that define, and often divide, the right. We call this exchange of views the "AFF Smackdown." Recently, we extended our reach to include college-age interns. With AFF's DC7, you, as a young, bright-eyed and unsuspecting intern will get tossed into the ring.

DC7 does this by providing an arena for interns from across the spectrum-from Capitol Hill to the Heritage Foundation to the White House. You get to meet other future pundits and policy wonks and begin collecting signatures for your 2020 presidential campaign. It's not just another boring lecture series, but one where you can access the real deal. Last year our speaker series included such notable figures as Judge Alberto Gonzales, Counsel to President George W. Bush, and Rosario Marin, Treasurer of the United States and the Honorable Bill Bennet.

DC7 will get you out of the copy room and help you make new friends and contacts. Moreover, you'll learn how Washington works and deepen your knowledge about the issues of the day and the underpinnings of our political and market systems.

All this and a free lunch. Throughout the summer we will give you the skinny on where to snag some free grub at various conservative and libertarian organizations in DC and see what else they have to offer.

You'll also be welcome at our regular AFF roundtables and events (more free food)where we host such cool cats as Jonah Goldberg, Rich Lowry, Michael Lynch and others. This will also give you a chance to talk to those of us who have moved on from making copies and coffee to bigger and better things. Like stapling and collating.
