This is an "about the author" page for a variety of things I'm involved in on the web.
I live in Houston, Texas. I lived in North Yorkshire in the early 80s. I graduated from St. John's School and Rice University. I have a bachelor's and master's in history from Rice.
I'm married to Michael Croft and I work as a technical writer.
I have a weblog and a LiveJournal, the latter of which is mostly friends-only. I coordinate the Game WISH project.
I post to the Shadows of Amber and Master's Council bulletin boards. I used to belong to Mattnet, Round Table, Amazons, and the Amber Mailing List. I contribute to The 20' By 20' Room and Our Sister the Moon.
I am often known as Immigration Lass or immlass.
I'm in several play-by-email games. I co-GM House of Cards. I was one of the originators and GMs of A Grand Affair, but have resigned my GM slot and now just play. I also play in Ask Not of Amber: the Enclaves, The Glitter and the Glamour, Dark Shades, Uncle Brand's Mansion, the Lunar Ellipse, and Strange Bedfellows.
I post my Amber trumps to the Deck of Realities. I used to paint 25mm gaming figurines, some of which are now in a web gallery.
My former married name was Phillips.
