A Critique of Administration Policy Edward M. Kennedy (D-Mass.), a member of the U.S. Senate since 1962, will appear at the Brookings Institution Monday to deliver a speech on U.S. domestic policy. His address will critique the Bush administration's performance on health care, education, and the economy.

Brookings convened an expert panel of policy analysts
with a range of opinions to assess the issue of gay marriage and take
questions from the audience.
Senator Richard G. Lugar (R-Ind.), outlined an ambitious agenda for political, economic, and educational reform in the Middle East during a speech at Brookings. His proposal called for the establishment of the Greater Middle East Twenty First Century Trust that would pool money from G-8 countries and rich countries in the Middle East.
Michael Sandel and genetics expert Lee Silver appeared at this
briefing on biotechnology, public policy, and the quest for perfection
sponsored by the Pew Forum on Religion and Public Life and Brookings. (3/31/04)

debated the best and most cost-effective ways to increase voter
