It amazes me how good some of these Flash games are looking these days. Superbike GP's fun, but it reminds me of how I'm complete crap at motorcycle games. Well, except for Hang-On, I was ok at that one.

The rooms at the Propeller Island City Lodge are pretty far out overall. I know where I'm staying if I ever make it to Berlin. Linked from A Welsh View.

God's Little Ones, "life size portrait models of real preemie and micropreemie babies". Filling that void for people who just don't want a healthy newborn doll.

This man loves his Chrysler Cordoba, otherwise known as The Doba. There's even a theme song. Thanks to Garry for the link.

The first time I heard Freeland's "We Want Your Soul" (video) was a remixed version with Britney Spears' "Toxic" (it's in the playlist over on the left side of the page).

It's Mario vs. Luigi in Super Mario Reloaded. It would probably be helpful if you've seen the Matrix Reloaded, but not an absolute must.

Listen to the sounds of storms, dinosaurs, space and whales. They're set up to hawk items but are still worth a peek.

This is an excellent, if depressing collection of tabloid pictures from the Los Angeles Herald Express, 1936 - 1961.

This collection of photographs by Sergei Mikhailovich Prokudin-Gorskii (photographer to the Tsar) is from 1907-1915, and using "digichromatography", they have been colorized. The "making of" section has more information on the actual process.

From my host:

"Dear Everyone,

Our apologies for the repeated outages today. It turned out our router problems were caused by a DDOS (distributed denial of service) attack aimed at a site we hosted (note past
tense). It was a pretty massive attack, more than doubling the amount of inbound traffic we
normally receive.

As a result, our routers were overwhelmed. Due to the nature of the attack and the
circumstances surrounding it, we were not able to immediately trace down the cause of the
problems. We have now blocked the target's IP address and are keeping a close eye on our
inbound traffic so that we can act quickly to prevent this from impacting customers any
further."

I added radio.blog over on the left menu (or click here). There's 20 or so tracks in there so far. More to come.

Music from the television show Gunsmoke (1960-61) in .mp3 format. This is another one of those "I'm not sure who would actually want this" posts, but here you are anyways.

I miss the days when bands put bizarre political/social collages in their records. This is similar, but I miss having a hard copy.
