Dashboard Confessional - The Sharp Hint Of New Tears |

you, i find it rather funny that when you get driving directions on mapquest, they give the option to find borders books locations along your route. i mean, i can understand jiffy lube, as you may have car trouble along the way. hell, i can even understand krispy kreme donuts being listed; i may need to stop and get some delicious, sweet treats. but borders? i have never once while driving though 'hmmm, you know what i could really use now? some books! oh, if only i knew the closest borders books locations along my proposed route!' i think if i ever held an internal monologue like that i would check myself into an institution.
thinking along those lines, if someone questions their own sanity, can they be said to be truly insane?
but i digress. amazingly enough, i actually made it to a midnight movie at the uptown theatre (hence my prior tangent about mapquest and border books). as de was having a little trouble coming to terms with the possibility of hissing insects infesting her car, i drove. once again ryan and eric did not show up, but to be honest i wasn't really expecting them to. we met up with justin and alexis at the theatre, and i was happy to note that they had a balcony, where there were seats saved for us. however, i must say that we were seated next a girl with the most obnoxious laugh that i have ever heard. now, don't get me wrong; i am glad that she enjoyed herself and i do not blame her for sounding the way she did, but i did not want to be seated next to her. the first time she laughed, had i any popcorn, i likely would have thrown it into the air in fright. but, other than seats that were entirely too small for my tukus and an incredibly cold trip there and back (i actually got almost lost on the way home; at the exit onto 94 i aways nearly take the 394 fork instead . . . this time i did) i had a fun time. next week it is brotherhood of the wolf, so i may do it all again.
