A few basic facts by way of full disclosure
for my contributions to Crooked Timber:
I work on information technology, electronic business and telecoms policy for an international membership organisation based in Paris. My particular interests are information and communications privacy and security, and I work on these issues outside of my day job. As (employed) lobbyists don't enjoy quite as much academic freedom as, well, academics, I should note that the views I express in Crooked Timber are my own.
