Côte D Ivoire: Peacekeeping Deployment On Track Despite Tensions

Chief Military Liaison Officer of the MINUCI Brig-Gen Abdul Hafiz visits a refugee camp in Guiglo.

The scheduled deployment of UN peacekeepers in the Ivory Coast will not be hampered by tensions following violent demonstrations, a spokesman of the UN Mission in Côte d'Ivoire (MINUCI) said on Monday.

World Court Ruling: Cameroon Cedes Villages to Nigeria
