Welcome to vvcampaign.org. I created this site in 1998 following a research paper on the Double V campaign. My paper, The Pittsburgh Courier During World War II, An Advocate for Freedom, was originally an assignment from Ford Risley's COMM 401 - Mass Media History. When I initially did the research, there was not much on the Web about the Black Press, during WWII or anytime. I decided to be one of the trailblazers. In 2001, I purchased the domain vvcampaign.org and revisited this site. More changes are due soon.

If you have any comments on the site, the Courier and VV, or anything else related, feel free to email me at wfyurasko@psualum.com
