WELCOME to the website of Robert W. McChesney.
McChesney is the author of eight books on media and politics, professor
of communication at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign,
and host of the weekly talk show, Media Matters, on WILL-AM radio.
McChesney also writes widely for both academic and non-academic
publications. He gives talks frequently on issues related to media
and politics in the United States and world today. If you look around
this home page you will find links to many of McChesney's activities,
