i got my halloween costume all figured out today.... i am sooooooooooooo excited.
people are coming over to pre-drink but we don't actually know where we are going after that...
and we have PUMPKINS... and beer.

today i am going to the cannes ad awards. i am excited for that too.
and i am going to the symphony on thursday.... which i am also excited for.

i dont really want to go to work today.

the government gave me $82.50
im re-considering going to rochester to see kmfdm this halloween.

karen brought home 5 free pumpkins last night. woohoo!

i was so sick last week, but susana at work gave me this chinese oil and did this weird scratchy thing to my back, and im cured.... she cooked for me on sunday. cecilla cooked for on friday, i've got all these little asian mamas who keep bringing me food... and it's good food too.

we got the food sharing programme off to a good start also. adam made me vegetarian chili in exhange for pepper stew.

i munched all these mushrooms on saturday. that was quite a highlight, it was my first time revisting them since i was like 15 or something.... it was quite the journey...

i like living w/ karen. it's like having a sister (granted i have one already but this is far more ideal) plus now i have twice as many clothes... i bought $90 pants today for 15.... that was exciting too.

i'm going to see the symphony... i found a way to get $10 tickets...

the fire escape to the second floor fell over this weekend. no one knows when it happened but there is now a big metal staircase lying next to our house... and a door that goes nowhere in the kitchen. it adds to the charm.

i applied for this huge art show thats happening in november. it's supposed to recieve lots of media attention... and it's on spadina around the corner from our house.

art @ 80 had an amazing show on, last week. too bad you missed it.
nigel spends his days sleeping on the floor of my room. i like having a pet.
i applied for a bursary. i have a good chance of getting it.. the budget said i was $5000 short for the year.

@ this point... the kinder surprise toys out number the people here by about 6-1....

i went to the rally for tution fee reductions. i went to a gallery opening. i threw a party. i saw the grafitti fest reminents. i've been to hot box quite a bit recently. I've been to the library just for fun. 3/5 classes are phenomenal, the other 2 are mediocre. i've been picked up 4 times on the street on my way home. i've been complimented. kissed. i've seen the rest of 'this is what democracy looks like' i saw koyaanisqatsi. i saw lost in translation. i've seen so much art. i was invited to the kensington community centre to come volunteer and receive a free meal. i've lived on less than $5 and sometimes less than $3 a day for food and such. i've adjusted to sleeping here. i've bought my groceries in china town.

i feel home.

i am back in school now. i like it. it makes me feel purposeful.
its even been nice to see people again. its not like high school here... i don't hate everyone.
i am even sleeping(which is a luxury im not always afforded).
and im working on my own art.

i moved last night.
this morning i went grocery shopping in kensington.
the house is very quiet. but the outside is very noisy.

all my stuff is in boxes.

visited the bloor cinema tonight and saw dark side of the moon.
walked most of the way home up bathurst from the bus stop and was trailed by a cab who then gave me a FREE!!! ride home... which was amazing b/c i paid my tuition today and am so so very poor right now.

last night was magical too... there was at least an hour and a half of spectacular lightning and i saw it all.
