My name is Ashley. Some people here have called me Skye. I'm a chick. I consider myself odd in my tastes, my interests and my actions. I'm againist conformity, and I think you should do whatever the hell you want and not care what others think. I love anything that has to do with art; I've done everything from sculpting and drawing to oil painting and jewelry making. I love to write, and I was in the [slow] process of writing a novel and a book of my poems and short stories, which I've just recently put aside for a little while. I'm addicted to my music, without which I'd probably be in a round room looking for a corner right now. I've been through a lot in my life, and I consider myself a pretty well-rounded person. I'm honest; I'm the type of person to tell you that yes, you do look fat in that shirt, and hey, you have food stuck in your teeth. I'm liberal, and very open minded. I can sometimes jump to conclusions a little too quick, and I can get caught up in arguments over stupid things. I can be cynical and judgmental, and people that over criticize piss me off. If you do something to piss me off, I'll tell you; and if you do something I think is stupid, I'll tell you. I say whats on my mind, whenever it pops into my head, and my "open-ness" tends to get me into trouble a lot. I have done and continue to do stupid things, and I once got suspended off the bus back in middle school for bringing fire crackers with me and getting a friend of mine to light them and throw them out the window (hell, it was pretty cool). I have a group of friends who I keep very close to me, and their like my extended family. Although I am extremely independent, my friends are a big part of me and who I am. In the end, I wake up Ashley, and at the end of the day I'm still me. Nothing and no one can or will change that.
