i have never really posted in here, but i thought this was good enough to post. so here it goes::
i liked this kid in my school for awhile now and i just realized my one friend is in his one class. so she asked him if he liked me or whatever, and basically he said he didn't becuase i was straight edge and he's not.
i couldn't believe it. i don't know maybe i'm making a big deal out of it.. what do u think?

here is a little info on what you can do about serial adders. now when you ban someone they no longer show up on your "friends of list". also lj will be tracking who gets banned the most so they know who to take action against.

www.hxcmp3.com is an awesome new site for bands. If you're in a band go there and sign up to make a page for your band (it's free!)... you can search for new bands to listen to.. it's really rad, useful, and promotes a greater community.

hey everyone...i just read this rad interview that ian mackaye did for downhillbattle.org. if you want to read more about downhill battle, click on the banner below...
anyway, basically what these downhill battle people are doing are making everyone aware of the fact that the 5 major record labels (BMG, EMI, Warner Bros., Sony, Universal) are pretty much screwing over artists, and due to a drastic drop in record sales over the past few years (because of internet sharing) these evil companies are on the verge of breaking down, and we can help destroy them, muhaha...
ian mackaye said some really awesome things in this interview, and you all should read it: MacKaye Interview
since indie music labels have everything to do with straight edge, and so does ian mackaye, i thought this article would be of interest to everyone.

Me and My boy are planning on going to the Path of Resistance show but we're having problems finding cheap ways of getting from New York to Syracuse.
Any suggestions would be great. It's not a way of trying to bum a lift or anything...just need some help.

Im having doubts on my straightedge lifestyle, anyone care to give me reasurance? :-/
Ive always havent cared if people around me drink, becuase its their lives and they can do whatever they want with it, and now I think, well I only live once. But then I think, yes I do only live once, but I should make that life a healthy and long one with me being me instead of intoxicated with various drugs. So I don't know...... Also I hate having labels put on me, and being sxe is just one more lable to slap on me. Even though it is a postive thing, I still don't like havign that label. I can be drug free with out being labeled.
So all in all, Ive jsut been thinking alot lately, and it would be nice to hear someone to reasure me that sxe is an awesome thing, becuase I know it is, its just hard for me to see it right now. I dont know that probably sounds weird, but yeah....

Hey. I was wondering what everyone thinks about caffiene? I've been sxe for 4 years but only decided to give up caffiene about a year ago. A lot of my friends who are edge don't really care one way or the other, though - they still drink caffienated soda although none of them are too big on coffee.
I've got to say, though, it feels wonderful getting caffiene out of your body - I don't need as much sleep and being awake has so much more clarity.
