tearing phonebooks in half
hooo doggy.

I think more happened in the past weekend than has happened in the past month.

hmm. I stopped peeling from my voyage to california.

I turned 25!

Pam took me to this awesome resturant we had been dying to go to. It's a hawaiian tiki bar/lounge called waikiki wally's. It looks cheesy but the food is actually realllly good. I had the ginger roast duck on coconut rice which was just amazing.

And Pam also got me a new fishy which we have named Vernon. He is a betta (siamese fighting fish), and I'd take some pictures of him with my crappy camera phone if it didn't end up looking like a turd floating in a bowl.

Roz came over on saturday night to hang out, and gave me a kickass Mr. Sparkle tshirt, and we all drank way too much and raised hell on my iSight.

I also made my first successful thai meal! We won't talk about my previous attempts, but I have mastered coconut rice and chicken satay.

Then last night (while watching Kill Bill volume 1), my *#@!! g3 ibook.. DIED JUST LIKE THE OTHER ONE DID#%@!%

I'm sure you all remember the apple hell i went through like 6 months ago that led to me getting a new ibook from apple, well I'm about to go through it again, and I want a damn powerbook this time around! I'm not putting up with another crappy ibook that is going to break on me.

Good thing I have a g4 ibook too ;) My airport extreme card came today too and it is super cute, so I get to go home and play with that.

Yeah so, I am at least covered on the laptop front until I go to Tampa for the next NPPL event, where I might have to surrender it :(

Who knows, if all goes well I might be rocking a 15" powerbook.

Last night I got an n64 emulator setup on my xbox, and today I beat tetrisphere, one of my favorite n64 games. Brings back memories of wasting hours with CSH people in jeff/pats room. And of soco and I ripping the audio off of my n64 because we liked it so much.

It's crazy to think that this game was made in 1997, crap I am getting so old.

Today is one of those lazy sundays (well there was a lazy friday and saturday as well). Pam is back home visiting her fam, so I'm just chilling. About to try and take on the hidden level 6 of tetrisphere.. if my fingers don't fall off

I'm such a fanboy.
So, Rosalyn, Pam and I went to this party, at a Bulgarian culture center for two of her friends who are going out to california to make a pilot for cartoon network (Tim & Eric). So we get there and the place is friggin packed, and we're like drinking these huge beers and listening to gypsy music and having a good time, and I'm like "I'm gonna go put my empty beer over there by that guy that looks just like David Cross". And Roz is all "No, that is David Cross, I should have mentioned he'd be here" and I was all "OMG HE IS SO AWESOME", so I screwed up the courage to go over and meet him, and of course I was star struck and sounded like a fool, but he was a really cool guy.

For those of you who don't know, David Cross is a comic genius who has been in some questionable movies (Men in black I & II, Ghost World), but also wrote/writes for Tenacious D, Mr. Show, The Ben Stiller Show, and is on Fox's hilarious new Arrested Development (which you should all be watching because it is really honestly super funny).

I am so STUCK at work right now, fighting off the post-xmas/pre-nye vacation blues. Teddy and Seni are supposed to be arriving shortly, and I'm psyched to see them (but sad that Isabelle isn't coming!)

I have a little under an hour until i am freeee, for at least a few hours. I have off w-t-f-s-s, which is kickass, but of course after that I don't have a vacation day until forever :(

I want to go home and drink some of my newly smuggled beer (a case of yuengling and a case of beamish). Hmm, wonder how a black and tan with beamish and yuengling would work out.

Only one way to find out!

almost there
Welp. As of tomorrow, I will FINALLY be finished moving. I'll have all of my belongings in one place, which happens to be a two bedroom apartment in the east village.

I'm excited as all get out, but sooo tired of the whole moving thing. I spent enough money to buy a pretty nice used automobile just getting here, but I suppose that's part of the game.

I got a spiffy new cell phone (a t610), and a new #, so if you don't know my new # yet, and want it give me a holler.

Work is going well, I'm just oh so tired. Tomorrow night I get to sleep in my own bed for the first time in months..

If anyone out there makes over $170,000 a year, or has assets in excess of $200,000 and wants to be the guarantor (think co-signer) of my friggin apartment in NYC. Feel free to speak up now, so I don't have to live in the subway.

I promise I will pay my rent so you don't have to.

It's official!
I now have gainful employment in NYC as Lead System/Network Administrator for a growing company! Next task is finding a suitable apartment for Pam and I in the East Village.

I'm moving on up to the East side! :D

Just had my first interview, and I think it went pretty well. It's with a small company, but one that seems to be more progressive when it comes to technology than my last.

Hopefully I'll hear from them soon!
