Brain damage, ever since the day I was born Drugs is what they used to say I was on They say I never knew which way I was goin But everywhere I go they keep playin my song
He looked at me and said, "You gonna die honkey!" The principal walked in and started helpin him stomp me I made them think they beat me to death Holdin my breath for like five minutes before they finally left Then I got up and ran to the janitor's storage booth Kicked the door hinge loose and ripped out the four inch screws Grabbed some sharp objects, brooms, and foreign tools "This is for every time you took my orange juice, or stole my seat in the lunchroom and drank my chocolate milk. Every time you tipped my tray and it dropped and spilt. I'm gettin you back bully! Now once and for good." I cocked the broomstick back and swung hard as I could and beat him over the head with it til I broke the wood Knocked him down, stood on his chest with one foot.. .. Made it home, later that same day Started reading a comic, and suddenly everything became gray I couldn't even see what I was tryin to read I went deaf, and my left ear started to bleed My mother started screamin, "What are you on, drugs?!? Look at you, you're gettin blood all over my rug!" She beat me over the head with the remote control opened a hole, and my whole brain fell out of my skull I picked it up and screamed, "Look bitch, what have you done?!?" "Oh my God, I'm sorry son" "Shut up you cunt!" I said, "Fuck it!" Took it and stuck it back up in my head then I sewed it shut and put a couple of screws in my neck
Brain damage, ever since the day I was born Drugs is what they used to say I was on They say I never knew which way I was goin But everywhere I go they keep playin my song |

i talked to Guerby man, he's sounding really good, hungry, but good. i could tell he was doing just fine by the tone in his voice. he didnt sound scared, didn't sound nervous, just alone . you can hear things in a persons voice. and espacially while in jail the tones and cracks of his voice can overthrow what ever it is he is actually saying. but he's good and true. prolly because he recived some good news. he'll see the TV judge in aday or two if not allready. after that he'll have a hearing infront of a non TV judge in the court room. at that time he will either find out if he will be released on prohbation for or spend some time. if i knopw my Guerby, and i'd like to say that i do, he'll jump at the chance to be free, altho if serving his time will work out better in the long run then he will be gun-ho for that as well.
the whole situation kills me tho man. i've really been on the edge and questioning my values and morals. rock and a hard place. in the end i'd like to believe that the right thing was done. you are your brother's keeper. its just a damn shame i didn't pay more attention. a simple court date and some follow up appointments with his pretrial lady at her office would of saved this from happening. but he has no car, no money, life is hard. all the more reason to learn from his lessons . i feel bad cuz like the whole reason he got ar4rested in the first place was my fault, the second time, my fault, and now the third, i don't know how much i can blame onmyself.
everyone has their own problems, if only he kept his paper work and paid attention to the days of the month and the year, the year flew by, and he was just always caught up in the moment.
i love that guy man
but i'm not worried, he's strong. and this will be somthing he'll remeber. maybe clean up and get the fuck out of that house that he's living at.
by the way he said he wants to send his regards to everyone. he's doin his push up's, don't worry, he's a tuff niggah.
in my head and prayers untill i next hear from him.... |

i'm home now. it all started thursdaynite after skool. i had taken my test and the students were dismissed eraly. i walked home as usual and was intercpeted by Halie, Luara, and Ron in Bonneville. it was ladie's nite at Cowboys and thats where they were headed, so i was headed their too. i enjoyed myself at Cowboy's not what i had expected, but it was fun, it was 'Bikini in Boots' nite.
from there on out i just drifted. from Atlantis to the moon and everywhere in between. big thanks too Chris and Katie, Laura, and Laurax for all their hospitality and letting me crash on their couch.
last nite picked up some one from the airport and after that we went to the beach. there is no place else on earth like the coast in the middle of the nite.
good times....my tooth is still missing. |

it kills me to here about whats still goin on in Iraq. dammit! no one is gunna vote on the January 30th elections. personally i'd be afraid to walk the street. 4 car bombs went off today, goverment workers and election officials are dippin, making sure their lives are still safe. i don't know if democracy can survive. is there a balance for all these people? rebels, terrorists, troops, citizens, all of them are dieing. thats what the news tells me at least, thats what i hear from those who have been there.
it kills me, i heard his girl talking shit about Orlando, "I can't stand this place, I can't wait to get out."
i could understand why the world isn't fond of american's.
one example.... http://www.suntimes.com/output/iraq/cst-nws-iraq16s1.html
say a prayer for the dieing. |

"bring em out bring em out its kinda hard to yell when the barrel's in your mouth"
Jay is hard, i don't give a damn.
i would like to name off my 5ive favorite emcee's:
1--Mos Def (from Black Star) 2--Del The Funky Homosapian (of Hieroglyphics) 3--Method Man (from the Wu-Tang Clan) 4--Black Thought (of The Roots) 5--Nas (a BraveHeart Veteran)
Mos is insanley talented, he's very musical and his work is great. he tears it up in a freestyle or he can get down on a fucking bass guitar. Mos is the man hands down.
Del can rap about absolutley anything. and his flow's are non-stop goin on for days type shit. he spits it clear enuff to hear and he makes you think, he makes you laugh for the most part. Del got that funk straight outta Cali, he ain't no gangsta either.
Method Man is just raw, gridy, dirty, nasty...its the M-E-T-H-O-D-MAN! straight outta Shoalin, you can hear the intensity in his voice when he's on a track and he's not gunna be one of the guys on a micraphone to lie to you, he keeps it real all day and all night. Wu-Tang Clan ain't nothin to fuck wit.
Black Thought From Philly, this man has a dope way from transfering from verse to verse, lyric to lyric. i like his set up. Black Thought and The Roots are prolly one of the best things to happen to hip-hop. the band and him compliment each other so well, they work perfect for each other. Black Thought as an MC can get you to move "I shall proceed and continue to rock the mic".
Nas, Queen's finest, i like Nas mostley because everytime i listen to one his tracks or an album for that matter, he takes me on a journey. its a straight up trip and he's the story teller. he's an emotional one too, and he tells it how it is. from the streets, about the children, the way the world is now how it was before. he's the man, and you can't touch him.
what about you? who are your favorite emcee's? |
