6:19PM - Will the REAL Neptune please stand up?

Okay, apparently in her effort to start posting again, my ditzoid sister Erin (mareezka) has neglected to log me out of the computer at home. I'm going to leave her posts up, because they're funny and I'd hate to destroy what she wrote, but know that I have not suddenly lost spelling ability or gained a boyfriend named Matthew.

And to you, Erin. Are you using the client or the web-browser? Talk to me before you post again either way so we can LOG ME OUT, doof.

Remember how we had your password emailed to you? Didn't you think you'd have to USE it at SOME POINT? DS

And yes, I'm still alive, sorta. :)

Not being with Chris makes it hard to post. go figure.

I need a friend with a dog here. Chris is usually a good enough human disposal for whatever crap I deem spoiled or nasty, but I can't bear to give him the fatty chunks leftover from the steak my Granny gave me. Though he'd probably eat them if I let him. Ew.

6:59PM - We are the Aggies, the Aggies are we...

So everyone's gonna be watching some Aggie Football at 2:30 on ABC tomorrow, right?

Screw LSU, though I guess you COULD watch that too since I just looked and their game is at 8PM.

Colleen and Fred gave us their sports passes and I JUST bought tickets this morning, so we'll be the tiny dots waving in the masses on 3rd deck. I'll be the one that doesn't know all the cheers though.

I'm much more hyped up about football this year, I guess in part because the home games are a BIG DEAL in the campus bookstore. 75% of our profits for the year get made on those, what? like 12 days. So while this would be the year I'd actually buy the sports pass, it wouldn't be worth it, because 9 times out of 10 most employees have to work game days.

Tomorrow I go in at one, leave AT 2:30, and have to be back a few minutes before the game ends to work until 8. Sucks some, but at least I get to go to the game, and I have that to do rather than twiddle my thumbs for two hours.

The top deck, that's where we'll be.

Right now I'm listening to all of the Aggie songs over and over. Trying to actually learn the words to Spirit of Aggieland. I get lost after "we are the aggies, the aggies are we..somethingsomethingsomething fight fight... maroon and white...we come from Texas AMU..."

About to wake up the novio and go see Finding Nemo for $1, eat free pizza, and hopefully go to yell practice. Not too shabby.

Mark Bensabat, president of the Baton Rouge market for Bank One, is going into the trip with a different mindset.

HMM, THAT last name sounds familiar!

Anyhoo, I'm mainly posting because the A&M; resnet has been le SUCK basically since the start of school, and I feel so cut off without my constant AIM connection. So hi world. I'm in a lab right now working. Without my nice dorm computer, it feels like I spend my whole life in a lab.

That's the last time I let(hah) Bill help me with my homework.

It's a good thing I submitted the(really crappy) work I did to myself before I submitted it to my prof.

    Why?

    Well

We found problems in your proof:
*** Step 12 of your proof, "suck on my salty chocolate balls put 'em in

    7:39AM - *GAG*

    Word of the Day

    muggle (MUHG-uhl) noun

    1. An ordinary person, one with no magical powers.

    2. A clumsy or unskilled person.

[From a series of children's novels by JK Rowling.]

"Of course, the team has had less magic than a muggle this year, with a
3-9 record, even with its new star player."
Lloyd Grove; The Reliable Source; The Washington Post; Nov 27, 2001.

"If a muggle stumbles on a cache, they sometimes take all the contents of
the cache since they are uninformed on geocacher etiquette."
Jessica Valdez; Players Try to Unearth Hidden Treasures in Game of
Geocache; The Sun (Baltimore, Maryland); Apr 17, 2003.

omg dude, so I was sitting around watching the Even Stevens' movie, catching the very end, and Wren has my shirt! I got it summer of 2002 at Lerner's. For those of you who see me, you know the brown/orange/pink kinda crocheted looking one that has a little tie at the front? No? I'm not surprised.

Anyway, if you happen to be watching Disney(it's okay, I won't tell anyone) look at Wren's shirt in the very last scene(at the dinner table and while they're singing). That's my shirt! It's famous! :P

    9:14PM - Rambling

I think I start my library job tomorrow. Scary. I'd say some visit me, but the handbook says we're not allowed to have guests. It also says we cant use the library computers for anything other than library business, and I'm pretty sure judging from the boing! zap! sounds I heard everywhere that no one really listens to the rule. That or they have some pretty freaky Windows alert tones.

My only older girl cousin called me up tonight. Apparently mom and my sisters knew EXACTLY why she was calling, but I don't see her often and I don't hear from her and I'm not feeling all that bright tonight so I had no clue.
Apparently she wants me to be a bridesmaid. All good and fine except I don't want to be "the fat one."
She said something about having "all different sizes" in her wedding sine she's gonna have 6 attendants and I was like "and lemme guess, I'm the biggest."
She laughed and said she didn't think so. We'll just see. I really don't care except that I don't want to ruin her pictures.
Her wedding isn't until next year but she's wanting to go get dresses before I leave this summer. She wants to use that David's Bridal discount and she said she either wants royal blue or silver.
The good news is we c an pick out any style we want as long as it's the royal color and not totally out there. Hopefully I can find something with a hood and sleeves to cover my fat ass, hah.

So anyway, yeah, considering her wedding isn't until midsummer 2004 this seems early for bridesmaids dresses. But I don't know, sounds fun. She thinks she's also gonna ask the next girl cousin in line, Leah, who's 17, almost 18. Of course Erin doesn't understand why she's not asked but I don't think she's quite old enough, being only 14, and Kristen was never that close to her.

Also, she has me paired with her oldest brother Damien who is the friendliest out of that brood and taller than me. not bigger tho. We'll just see.

I'm not too worried about gaining more weight, but I hear so many horror stories...still, I'd like to drop a few sizes first. Funny how it takes one piddly day to make people go "omg, screw my health, I just need to look good in pictures."

I just don't want to look like a giant Dasani bottle.(royal blue, no?)

    4:37PM - Choices

This is shaping up to be a pretty craptastic summer, for a number of reasons, not all of which I will name. I feel completely stupid and unmotivated about school, my mom is basically telling me she doesn't want me around(over little things, and she's the one person I usually feel okay talking to and sheusually sees why I feel the way I do about things), I'm brooding about some things and just having a general bad little period. Right now I basically see myself feeling neglected in a loveless marriage(if that), making 5.15 an hour(if i have a job at all).

Yes, I'm Susie Sour right now. Not in a get mad and blow up way. In a curl up and die way. Don't want sympathy. Just noting this to myself for later.

And no, Chris has not done anything in particular to cause me to say this. It's me, I guess. :)

    3:16PM - WHOOP

Straight A's! And now I'm a junior Aggie so (Chris) WHOOOOOOOOP!!!! Wish I'd have taken my Kine walking class graded instead of Pass/fail, I would so have had an A. Oh well.

    AMER NATNL GOVT POLS-206-504 A 3.0
AM LIT CIV WAR TO PRES ENGL-228-504 A 3.0

Cumulative GPR: 3.694(cum) 60.0(hrs at A&M;) Total Transfer Hours: 9.0
    Total Hours: 69.0

Realizing that I'd have like a 3.9 if not for my first semester has made me wish I had put forth some effort and gotten a few A's in the giant mass of B's. I've gotten an A in every class since except Native American Anthropology, and that sucked so much because I worked my butt off and neglected other classes for it. For nothing! Ugh.

Still though, color me happy! I was expecting one or two B's. I feel as though the semester was wasted since I got only 13 credit hours instead of my usual 15 or 16, but oh well.
