Tom Hammer Akimbo, a start-up company offering video-on-demand service for television, named Tom Hammer chief technical officer and vice president of engineering. Hammer is primarily responsible for the architecture of the Akimbo Player and the design and distribution of its broadband-delivered programming service for television.
