i just got back from todd's. it was boring. nicole and i just talked in ryan's room most of the time. plus i have a headache.
today was a busy day. i had to get insurance on my new jetta (!) then to the tag office. then i had an interview with chase staffing. then i had to schedule an appointment for my second interview with GE. then to work 5-close.
work wasn't bad at all tonight. i only sold shoes for an actual hour. lance had me make panther posters for his superbowl party. they turned out great.
is there anything going on tomorrow (saturday) night?
this week went by fast. sunday, monday, and tuesday were great. NO SCHOOL or work. the roomies and myself literally didn't get out of our pjs for 3 days. we watched a ton of movies and ate a lot of food. the following movies were viewed:

old school
legally blonde
legally blonde II
dawn of the dead
dancer in the dark
every single episode of my so called life, ever (seriously)
etc etc.
dancer in the dark is no doubt the saddest movie i've ever seen in my life. jesus. it was an incredible movie. bjork is wonderful. but i cried nonstop (no joke), the entire last 45-hour of the movie.
last night i used my sewing machine for the first time. i made a bag for my drawing pad, canvases, paints, brushes et all for painting class. voila:

nick's party saturday was okie. a lot of people showed up. i just wasn't in a great mood. everyone seemed to get on my nerves (no offense to anyone). and then i thought i lost penelope, sad sad sad. but she was recovered. anyway, i didnt take that many pictures, but here they are:

this weekend was a lot of fun.
best news ever, (i think) my dad is going to buy me a jettaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!
it's a '95, but it's perfect and flawless and only 49K miles. beautiful. today my dad and i went to look at it, the dealer is going to take off almost a thousand $ because my dad is going to pay cash. i love my golf, but this jetta is going to be so much more dependable. ! we also went to eat at laura's bbq in landis. i haven't been there in forever. and now they have veggie burgers. i ordered okra too. yum.
sunday night was awesome. the panthers won. sex and the city was great. curb your enthusiasm was hilarious. and then elias, steve, ryan, joey, and i went downtown to ericsson stadium to greet the panther players at their arrival home. it was so cold, but fun. there were thousands of people. everyone on the streets were blowing their horns and screaming. it was crazy. i'm so proud of charlotte.
saturday night was fucking crazy. it was miguel's birthday. waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too much to drink. i just remember laughing, dancing, then puking. i had to call into work sunday morning. but i really had a lot of fun. i love my friends.

today was a really great day.
first of all, i had photo at 9:30, which i wasn't too happy about. but the teacher never showed up. so our class had to go find someone in the art office. anyway, they scheduled a teacher to teach 2 different classes at once. now it's moving to 11:00.... which is awwwwwwwwwwwwesome. now i don't have to get up as early, and i don't have any gaps in between my classes.

i've been so lazy today. i didn't have to work today, so i've been rolling around in my bed all day. the only time i got up was to make pancakes for me and nick. now i'm watching that 70's show. tonight i think we're going to todd's though... surprise, surprise.
last night i made eggplant parmesan and elias and i watched ravenous. it was a really great movie, especially the music--soundtrack by damon albarn and michael nyman... soooo creepy. i felt kind of sick afterwards though. the movie is about cannibals, ick. everyone was covered in blood the entire time.

i've gotten out of both of my classes early today so far. i'm in the library waiting for figure drawing to start.
last night elias and i watched:
such a cute movie. marilyn monroe is so pretty. and not nasty skinny like most movie stars/models think they need to be.
sunday was inducted into the national society of collegiate scholars. weeeeeeeeee. fun and lots of yummy refreshments. afterwards, my family had a cookout for me at my grandmas.
TO ALL OF MY FRIENDS HERE IN CHARLOTTE:
I had the best idea the other night...
my grandma lives in the country, near mooresville/china grove. she has a great backyard and such. i think we should have a cookout/bonfire/hayride through the pasture trails, one night before or even after halloween. my mom has a lot of tree limbs to burn=bonfire. my grandma has a gas grill=cookout. and my brother said he would get the tractor to drive us around=hayride. we could tell ghoststories.. let me know what you think so we can plan something!
