i've felt so detached lately. from everything. nothing good, or special, wonderful, or meaningful has happened really, everything is the same. same, but.. different.

i havent seen any of my church buds for awhile, since changing work hours. ive been sick so i couldnt go if i wanted to.

work is actually really good, but its outside of work that really ticks me off i feell so, unsatisfied socially

I just watched her and Christian Bale in Metroland... good movie, very British.

That was one of my favorite parts, the other being, of course, "You ever dance with the devil in the pale moonlight? I always ask that of all my prey, I just like the sound of it."

Didja know that Christian Bale is gonna play the next Batman? I like him for it, a lot. He's got a good look for it, good jaw, right physique sure, brooding i think he's got down, but most importantly, he can play borderline/full on psycho!

Thats the most important aspect I think of Batman, its core to who he is. He is dark to superman's light. His borderline shady justice to superman's clear and squeaky clean.

Everyone knows I LOVE superman, I've wanted to be superman my whole life. But, honestly.. I give even more regard to Batman. He's dealt with so much pain and his strength shows thru. I love superman for his weakness despite his impenetrable exterior and batman for his impenetrable will, despite his human weakness.

I guess thats why i like him. he's all screwed up in the head, but he just wants to keep others from going thru what he has. so he keeps the dark at bay by using the dark as his own. batman / superman dynamic is one of shared necessity, because keeping the dark at bay is not enough. if there is no light, then there is no hope.

whats the point of all this? I have no clue... but i'm glad i got that all out

British TV is great! The programs are so much more interesting and a lot funnier. They arent simple stupid formula programming. Theres so much complexity in the drama and comedy. You really have to listen to what people are saying if you are gonna stand a chance in getting any jokes... everythings so quick and sharp.

but really, really, REALLY... I just love that everyone has accents

This is probably the last in the Actually series, being that it was probably a joke run a lil long for its worth. But that being said, wow! I Loved that movie. Sure there were a couple "bad scenes" that didnt need to be there, but such great stories of love in the most unlikely of places.

So I'm watching Love Actually for the first time, right? And it hits me about 5 mins into it that I've just witnessed about he most beautiful wedding ending thingy I could think of!

Not only do random wind instruments pop outta nowhere after a random choir and random singer pop outta nowhere singing "All You Need Is Love", then a random guitarist swings in with a sweeet riff, BUT who's getting married but a good looking gentleman like myself, and Keira Knightley, who I've just decided has the hottest smile in motion picture history.

Wow, minus a couple of shady scenes, I Actually Like this movie...

I watched Eternal Sunshine of a Spotless Mind tonight. Wow. It was really sweet, not like sugary sacchrine, rot your teeth, put in my coffee kinda sweet, but "heartfelt cerebral romp" comes to mind.

I want a love like that. A love so intense that even actively trying to erase or avoid it, it's meant to be.

I just watched the first 5 mins of Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. Man, not much has happened, but I'm really loving a lot of the movies that are getting made recently. Its almost like Hollywood has rediscovered what "good movies" are again, after such a long time of blockbuster crap.

I also noticed that Focus films is like Miramax of a couple years ago, not to take anything from Miramax. But already, Focus has to its credit Eternal Sunshine, Lost in Translation, 21 Grams, ones I havent seen like Sylvia, Swimming Pool, and The Pianist to name a few.

Actually I guess I was more right that I had thought. Focus is the Specialty Films division of Universal, just like Miramax is the same for Disney...DISNEY!?!

Oh well. Good movies are good movies. I think I might watch LadyHawke tonight...

I think "Once Again, With Feeling!" has to be the best episode of almost anything I've ever seen.

Every single song is great, I hope it won an award for something, anything.
