FILM EDITING

American Zoetrope supports picture editorial with editing rooms and both non-linear and film editing equipment. Our widely recognized innovative post-production methodologies and expertise are available to help with your film's needs.

We offer a suite of turn-key editing rooms in San Francisco's North Beach, along with Avid Film Composers and traditional editing equipment [benches, flatbeds, coding machines, splicers, etc.] for rental. We stock needed editing expendables for our clients.

SOUND EDITING

American Zoetrope has Pro Tools digital audio workstations, along with peripheral equipment and sound editing rooms available for rental. We also collaborate with our neighbor S O U N D for larger projects.

SCREENING ROOMS

San Francisco: in the basement of our historic Sentinel Building headquarters is a unique space that functions as a mixing room, a recording studio, and an intimate screening room. Double system 35mm projection with bright, flat projection [all 35mm formats] works for dailies or feature presentations. Betacam sources can be screened via a Sony Super Data HD capable projector with a line doubler. The room comfortably seats 12 people.

Rutherford: Zoetrope's Napa Valley re-recording stage doubles as a screening room. Dailies and all release print picture and sound formats, along with Betacam presentations, are supported. This casual room seats approximately 25 people.
