My back again
To those who have sent me emails about my back it is on the mend! I still can do things like bend over and tie my own shoes and sleeping can be rough. I often wake up as I turn over in my sleep and blinding pain shoots through me.

Anyways I am on the mend and thanks for the kind emails.

Robi's S. Asia Briefing: 2004-05-07
The latest South Asia Brief is up at winds of change. This month Nitin Pai of The Acorn did about seventy or eighty percent of the content which was great since I managed to put my back out Tuesday and was not able to do much of anything. Even sitting is painful! Also I am on a muscle relaxant which makes me sort of loopy.

Anyways thanks goes out to Nitin again and I would suggest people book mark his blog as a must read.

Back UP

If you are regular reader of my blog you will have noticed that it has been on and offline several times in the last couple months for up to two weeks at time. This is in main part due to Qwest. I have been hosting this blog of a server which is connected to a DSL line that is through Qwest. Well needless to say Qwest has lived up to its reputation as one of the worst telco providers by turning off my phone lines with no notice, randomly turning of DSL, adding and billing services that where not requested, having a Stinger DSLAM go down and not bothering to reboot it for three days, changing my VCIP 4 times in a week and other neat tricks. I guess they really really dont want my business.

Any ways I am going to be moving this blog and allot of other stuff off this current server to new collocated servers with in a couple of months.
