04.1.04: Version 0.1 Alpha Released!

The headline says it all...version 0.1 Alpha of IF Quake has been released. Head over to the downloads page to grab it.

Being an alpha release, this is obviously going to be a bit rough around the edges in places, and it's still very early, and very experimental, but it is playable, so download it and give it a whirl.

Note that this initial release doesn't have multiplayer enabled, but that is planned for the future (check the screenshots page for a sneak peek at that).

Directions for running it can be found on the downloads page, but just a reminder: you'll need both a copy of Quake (either retail or shareware) and a Z-Machine interpreter to run the game.
