Previously, in my life...
ALright, so I went with the husband to see G Love at the Bottle and Cork... fun times. Except for the puking... yea, he's all like "I'm gonna go hit on some chicks, I'll see you later," and walks off to strike out...err, yea.. So I'm like "what to do, what to do... aha, drink!" The night's total? several (4 or 5) beers, all different brands; two jello shots, one strawberry one orange; two (I think) rum & cokes. It may have been 5 beers/two rum & cokes or 4 beers/three rum & cokes. I dunno. But anyway, later... food... barfing... fun fun. Way hung over the next day. Good thing it was slow at work. It was even slower over the weekend, rainy or overcast and cold, so I didn't go in. Well, I did on Saturday, but that was only because someone forgot to call me... oy. Dummy went to the race in Dover with his boss on Sunday. I cleaned the house and taped the race for them... yay... Went to work Monday and KOSTA WAS BACK!!! Yay yay yay! Villi will be back soon, too, and then Stan in another week or so. SO HAPPY. But then the cops showed up. No, really, the cops busted us, not once, but twice on the same day. The first thing was that we can't sell bomb bags anymore, because they're "a firework." Yea, baking soda and vinegar in a little sealed foil packet... If the town had any freakin' sense, they'd just fine kids left and right on violation of a noise ordinance (after a certain hour) and for littering if they don't pick them up after they've exploded. But whatever. The other thing was about us having stuff on the sand in front of the stores, like in a display. Something about the rental company that rents out umbrellas and boards and shit paying to solicit on public beaches yadda yadda and so we shouldn't be allowed to do the same. Except the beach from the building to the boards isn't f-in' public. But again, whatever, the stuff's just right over the fence on the ledge now. I told T-funk he needed to pimp himself out with some gold bling, he laughed. Stupid face went out to Reno to see the chick who has been jerking him around the past few months. Boys are so dumb. He also had a phone interview with his potential new job the other day that he thinks went well. Plus side of him moving to VA... I won't have his messy ass to clean up after around the house (Mr. "OH, what can I clean" but doesn't... gar), and I won't have to hear him whine about chicks (as much). Minus side... I won't have a DD/chauffeur (more the latter as I don't really go out to drink a whole lot), I won't have anyone to go out to dinner with, and bye bye to guilty foot rubs. So it's pretty much 50/50. But if he gets it, he'll (in theory) be happy, so that would be good. Fingers crossed. Well, it's absofreakinlutely gorgeous out and I'm off (again) today, so I think it's off to Rehoboth and then back here to swim. YAYAYAYAYAY!
happy happy.

Yay, BIRTHDAY! Boo, shitty birthday! I could sleep Wednesday night because of indigestion, and when I finally rolled out of bed, I stepped on a staple and re-twisted my bad foot. Joy, this was looking to be a great day. On my way to work I needed to return some movies. No biggie, right? Wrong. I was going to stop at Taylor bank, too, and see about opening an account there because it's much closer than DFCU in Georgetown. As I'm trying to drive around to park in the front of the bank, some yahoo is stopped in the middle of the lot, and as I'm waiting for him to move, I see his reverse lights go on, and then, despite me leaning on the horn as I'm trying to get my car into reverse, he rams the fuck into me. Gar. So now I have like $700 worth of damage to my car that his ass (well, his insurance company's collective ass) is going to pay for. So I make it in to work (finally) and make it through almost the entire day without anyone knowing it's my bday. Why? Because I knew exactly what I'd get -- a hard time. And I get that anyway. So anyhow, my mom calls about the car (I had left her a message about it), and out from my mouth pops, "yea, happy birthday, indeed." "WHOSE BIRTHDAY," demands Kim. Yea, the jig was up. So before going home I was instructed not to go into an alcohol induced coma or anything. Har Har, Mr. "Back-when-I-was-too-hungover-to-make-it-in-early-enough-to-pay-the-Jack-and-Jill-guy." So I go home, I get a message from Chad, who got both the day and the age right (things are looking up), and Himmy takes me out to dinner. We went to Isabella's, hoping Dan would be there. Great dinner, good bottle of wine, but no Dan. Oh well, two outta three ain't bad. Rented a movie, drunkenly vandalised visited the new house on the slum property, and went back for more drinking and the movie. The next day I got shit from Tim about being the tiniest bit hungover-ish, but it (and the entire previous day) was made better when I had a visitor. DAN CAME TO SEE ME!!! EEEEE!!! I got a huge hug that almost knocked me over, and we talked for a bit, and then another hug. Yay yay yay! So for the rest of the day and evening I was stupid-girlie-giggly, and Himmy made fun of me. Also, parents came down for the weekend, and so I got carrot cake. There's more stupid little fun stories, but I'll just stick them in the bits and pieces entry I have going at home and post that whole thing eventually. yay.

Well, that's what the sign outside one of the churches between my house and work says. Oh well. Had a good (as in weather-wise) weekend, which also meant a relatively busy weekend. Then it went and got rainy this week. Ah well. It's all my fault of course. Himmy showed up Monday night. He's back at the pool place, and is either going to be back at the Sand Bar or find another bar tending/backing job in Ocean View or Bethany. Hermit crabs came in today, so I have a hundred more pets to take care of. hehe. I've decided to sort of keep tabs on day to day stuff, some of which is covered here, but I forgot to transfer it to the minidrive, so it will have to wait for another day to get posted. I turn 23 tomorrow, wahoo... let's hope it doesn't get mentioned at work. Only bad things will happen. Family is coming down this weekend, and they had better have a carrot cake in tow. I figure I'll crack open the bottle of champagne that Beth and Anthony didn't drink sometime between now and then. Now, it's back home to see if I can convince the husband to take me out to dinner, and in doing so run into my favourite Romanian boy...

Well, look at me, I'm at the library again... I'm debating whether or not I should pay for an ISP when I can just get online for free at the library. I mean, free vs. pay. But with free I have to fit it into my schedule, which is going to be way harder in another week or so. I like knowing that I can jump online whenever at my own house, but sticking with free@thepublic.library also means Himmy won't be touching my computer. Me likey that idea. That segues nicely into the fact that the husband is returning. Jannetta, who unbeknownst to me was wintering in Florida will be back in a week or two, which is cool. Kosta's due here around 10 June, and as for Villi and her sister... who knows.
I hope it's nice weather this weekend and work is busy.
I'll be laughing (or crying) about that last sentence in another month.

Quick & Dirty, because I'm in a public library, and well, it just seems right.
I made it downstate, got the fish set up, unpacked, and then got booted over to the haunted trailer for the first weekend.
Also started working. Blah.
Not going to Vegas. Blah.
Himmy might be down here again... blah.
Europeans probably won't be here for another month or so. :(
Not a whole lot else to say, I guess. It seemed like there was, but I suppose it was really stuff to say to specific people that was running through my head, instead.

Well, the fish and I survived the ride home to Delaware. We've got a little farther to go to get to the beach, but that's cake.
On the way down, I'm planning on stopping at PetSmart to buy a couple simple glass ten gallon tanks - the one I had the Whore and the cats in got cracked, and I don't want to take any chances with them. The other three bettas will each get a little over 3 gallons each, in a divided ten gallon. Let's hope I can control my shopping in a pet store for once...
I told Tim & Kim I could start working tomorrow the last time I spoke with them, but I'm sort of hoping they don't hold me to that... I'd be really happy if I had at least one day of rest... I've got loads of laundry to do and lots of tanks to set up once I get to the beach house.
I'd like to go to the drunk convention in a week-ish, but I'm not sure whether that will happen. Oh well.
As for now, it's off to the Napa store for an oil filter....

DONE!! I'm through with another year!! (hopefully) Only one more to go!
Handed in my last paper (albeit without page numbers :P ) at 10:30 this morning.
Took a shower, toga'd it up hard core style for a bit, and then remembered that the pot(tery) sale was today! Because I'm all swift and shit, I figured I'd sell back books and use some of that money for baked mud products. I bought a Jack Troy bowl ("I'm gunna eat ma' cereal out' it!"), a Kent Black cup ("You know, I think the only memory I have of you is during tenting, you yelling at role call "Kill Whitey!" "'Black Power,' actually. Nina yelled 'Kill Whitey' after that. It was a group effort."), and a cute little cup with leaves on it from Lynn.
I figure I'll sort through my dirty laundry (going home/put into storage) and wash the stuff that's getting stored tonight. I need to empty some stuff from the fridge so I can defrost it, and then track down Himmy. I figured we could move stuff tonight after most of the sane people have quit moving out for the day, and then go to dinner or something. I've got a bit of other packing I need to do, too, so I guess that's what I'll go do now.
Oh, yea... I found out yesterday that Dani, one of my cousins, was luckier than anyone knew when she got hurt at boot camp and had to put any military service on hold for awhile... her roommate from boot camp was killed in Iraq recently. ...closer and closer to home...
