Happy Birthday to my Sophie Princess! Sophie is turning 3 today but really acts as if she is 5! I told her it was her birthday, and she said she wanted a Barbie cake, which she had last fri. at her and Sarahs party! I remember when she was born, it was a wonderful thing, God had already blessed us with a boy, and now a little girl. I remember Josh saying over and over "Shes beautiful" we both just cried! What a happy time!!

A Just Man Proverbs 24:16- For a righteous (just) man may fall seven times and rise again, but the wicked shall fall by calamity. I was listening to a CD Donnie McClurkin and he spoke this scripture and it really spoke to me. Alot of times we in the church can understand if someone falls once maybe even twice but seven times we would have them on there way to hell. But, here what makes this man just or righteous in right standing with our Lord is that he got back up again! We can no longer let our daily struggles keep us defeated. God is a merciful God and loving, waiting for us to get back up so that He can dust us off. I don't care how many times my children may mess us, I will continue to love them more and more everyday, and thats how our Heavenly Father is to us. Lets move forward in the things of the Lord today, b/c if we look back at yesterday, we are taking one step back and it is keeping us from the freedom that belongs to us!

I have been reading a book "Calm My Anxious Heart" Linda Dillow, that was given to me by a friend sometime back, and wanted to share this poem with you, God has been dealing with me lately with being content, this poem was written by a 14 yr. old boy. This caused me to consider my focus.
It was spring but it was summer I wanted; the warm days and the great outdoors. It was summer but it was fall I wanted; the colorful leaves and the cool dry air. It was fall but it was winter I wanted; the beautiful snow and the joy of the holiday deason. It was now winter but it was spring I wanted; the warmth and the blossoming of nature. I was a child but it was adulthood I wanted; the freedom and the respect. I was twenty but it was thirty I wanted; to be mature and sophisticated. I was middle-aged but it was twenty I wanted; the youth and the free spirit. I was retired but it was middle-age that I wanted; the presence of mind without limitaions. My life was over but I never got what I wanted.

Is Your Cup Clean Inside? Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You clean the outside of the cup and dish, but inside they are full of greed and self-indulgence. Blind Pharisee! First clean the inside of the cup and dish, and then the outside alos will be clean. Matthew 23:25-26 Ouch! My toes are hurting on this one! So many times we busy ourselves with teachings etc. and forget to really allow God to clean the inside and then the outside will automatically be clean. We may think we can fool people with the outside of our cup but we can't fool God. Looks like I have a lot of cleaning to do.
