Drunk President
Category: From Tom

I don't know why I find the prospect of the President being too loaded to take a call from our PM amusing, but I do. A bit old I know but worth a read.

Please help me promote Uncle Roy
Category: From Tom

Weekend break - the amazing arts festival kicks of in West Bromwich today. Drop over, I guarantee you'll enjoy it. One of the performances is by blast theory. Its an online, interactive, games-console-style, something-or-other, hour long adventure - Uncle Roy all around you. I'm going to have a crack at it tomorrow I think, but the new session opens up at noon today. Its not often I ask this, but I really want to give their site some ooomph. Links would greatly appreciated and you'll get to know West Brom a bit more. I don't know the whole story but if you log on to this site when it opens at noon today, at the worst you'll be intrigued, at best you'll have a good laugh.

Victory in Europe
Category: From Tom

Yesterday, a good friend of mine, a party organiser of great repute, told me that he had arranged to get me into the count for the European elections taking place on Sunday 13th June. Good of him I thought and believe me when I tell you that the European elections are very important - use your vote wisely. I'm an elected representative. Politics matters. Elections are vitally important. Alas, I will not be attending the count on Sunday 13th June because as well as being an MP I am a normal bloke. Whlist your at it, take a look at this footie blog.

Well done the legalise cannabis alliance. They have managed to get their act together and put a poster up on a lamp post for the elections in Birmingham. Just the one.

Political advertising
Category: From Tom

Could political web advertising work in the UK? I wonder. It just doesn't feel right over here somehow.

Rock Kids
Category: From Tom

Here is Kate with McFly, or at least two members of the band and here is
J-Rock from Big Brovaz with Seamus and Kate. You see Liberty X, you had your chance of fame on this site but you blew it by taking off early. That'll teach 'em not to give autographs to ten year olds.

Not Con 2004
Category: From Tom

If this wasn't on the last Sunday before the Local and European elections on Thusday 10th of June (polls open between 7am and 10pm) I woud definitely be going. Not Con 2004, Sunday June 6th (Imperial college, doors open between 10am and 6pm). I like these guys a lot. They do really clever things that help people.

The other Tom
Category: From Tom

New York Tom points to a really interesting story about Dick Cheney. If it is true then the whole lot stinks. Tom says that the story isn't particularly big in the US. Can you imagine something like that going unmissed in the UK?

Spirit of America

Jeff Jarvis points to Spirit of America. It's usually worth following his direction, he talks a lot of sense.
