The Association of Internet Researchers is an academic association dedicated to the advancement of the cross-disciplinary field of Internet studies. It is a resource and support network promoting critical and scholarly Internet research independent from traditional disciplines and existing across academic borders. The association is international in scope.

Internet Research 5.0: Ubiquity?

Our next international conference is held at the University of Sussex, England, 19-22nd September 2004. Please visit the conference web-site for further information.

For the benefit of members and non-members alike, the association has its ethics recommendations on-line. Another great resource is the list of lists - a list of all the Internet research related listservs in the known universe (or at least known to us).

The association has adopted a Statement of Principles concerning discrimination and harassment.
