Fark Banner Advertising

Regular rate: $40 for 40,000 impressions (468x60 top banner)

Use this quick-setup wizard for advertisers interested in advertising through Big City Technology's adServer on Fark.com. The setup process will take you through a few easy steps, and when you are finished your ad will be ready to serve on Fark.com. Once Fark approves your ad, it will start serving within 15 minutes.

$200 for 1% of all our pageviews for one month

Fark is on track to hit over 30 million pageviews this month, so 1% of all our pageviews would be 300,000. Other comparable sites charge ten times this amount (or more) for the same coverage.

Why are we doing this? We've been running bulk banner ads for a while now. They aren't particularly targeted towards our audience. However our sidebar advertisers have had quite a bit of luck advertising with us. This is because they have interesting ads and their products are really cool. Looks like it will be awhile before the banner ad industry figures this one out, so we're not waiting around for them.

We're using Paypal to receive funds. Once the transaction completes, I'll be notified and contact you about placing the banner. Either we can host it or you can. Banner specs must be 468x60 and under 20k in size. We may request alterations to your banner, so bear with us. If we do it's because we have an idea that might help make it more interesting.

We are also unable to run any not safe for work banners and/or sites.
