Thank you D,Orange Haired Boy, Hurrishane and Vikkie for playing in the FFAF! I'm so pissed at myself for not realizing that it was the last Friday of the month. My head has been all over the place this past week, and the least of which has been blog related.

I'm so fucking far behind in my reads.
I'm so behind in some of my designing.

Getting ready to start the weekend with a six pack of Corona and a Pizza, yeah I know I am cheating but screw it, I've been a good boy. Thought I would hurry up and make a post before the strike of midnight.

Huge thanks to Mel for working on my skins and getting my blog looking spiffy... I just can't thank her enough for going out of her way and still planning her wedding and doing skins for others. Well the pizza is almost done and my beer is getting warm so I am outties.

Hurrishane

Yesterday I got up at 11am and went to work at 7pm. I got there at 9pm. I left there at 11am today. And what's worse? I almost forgot that today is FFAF. I mean, I knew it was approaching but I have lost all sense of time and space over the last few weeks that I'm only just warming up to the idea of it being 2004.

So, it's now a few minutes before midnight EST and this will be my final guest post. I seriously need some sleep.

Well hello there everyone!
I doubt anyone here knows me, but I am Vikkie
I just wanted to write a quick entry to tell Mel and everyone else howdy.

It is butt crack cold here in TN...I ended up wearing this huge jacket, and compared to everyone else I looked like the Marshmallow man. So what if it was only 39 degree's. It rarely gets that cold where I am from in Texas. That's my story...and I'm sticken to it.

Okay, so I tried to make this entry a bit more than me just saying hi to everyone. It didn't work out to well.

I happened upon a link to a site my cousin runs. He wss always interested in our family tree and now he's gone and posted it online.

I'm unsure how I feel about it. Granted, there's no "real personal" info, but my name. And he does say he'll remove anything we aren't comfortable with. And that's all well and good, but how would we even know about it, since he never notified anyone.

Plus, he's a fuckin' loon. But thankfully, he lives far enough away that I'm not real worried.

~I finally threw my button up there. I always seem to forget the button.

~I updated our wedding countdown clock. We might be going for April 30, 2005. That or the 16th. But I figured I'd give myself a bit more time and put the 30th. Eep! Only, 458 days!!!

This was the conversation I had with the bman before I left last night:

him: uh, mel (he's all about calling me mel lately, which is wickedly weird.) mel, call me in the morning. I know it's supposed to snow, but I got a couple jobs that need to be quoted.

me: yeah, I'll call ya, but I gotta tell you my life's worth a bit more than a quote.

him: *nervous chuckle* Yeah, yeah, I know. I was just thinking....

me: You know I'd be here if it were safe. You know I'd call you first, but you also know I drive a go-cart and it's just not safe out there for me. But if you want to buy me a nice new 4X4, that would be great. But it's a little too late for tomorrow.

him: yeah. I know....and me and timmy think we have it covered anyway. But I just wanted to see if you'd come in......just in case.

me: If we get 3 inches, I'll be in. We get a foot...well, don't count on it.

him: yeah okay. okay.

I live the furthest. My vehicle is the least safest. I make the least amount of money. Get over yourself, pal.

And you know, now there's a foot on the ground, under 2 inches of ice. Yeah, I could try to get there. But really...I'd feel much better staying home.

{Update: 715am - I call, and not even the office, but the cell phone, which he sleeps with. And I got nothing. Nothing. I left a message too. He's got nerve.}
