Webcast Producer
MSNBC.com is seeking a Webcast Producer for the Secaucus, NJ facility.  Primary responsibilities:  Oversee production of various daily, weekly and special Webcast productions:  Video Headlines (VH), Business Video Headlines (BVH), The Week in Video, White House Beat, On this Day and Game On video game reviews.

For VH and BVH, select stories, create rundowns, write scripts, work with multimedia producer to select and edit videotape, compile information for onscreen graphics, choose related links, etc.  Work with Redmond newsroom, MSNBC TV and NBC News desk to coordinate information for updates.  Work with Redmond newsroom and MSN Video to promote all productions.

Manage Webcast team.  Oversee editorial quality for all Webcasts.  Manage schedules for Webcast team, arranging for fill-in anchors, producers and multimedia producers as needed for vacation relief, sick days, etc.

Work with Redmond media team supervisors to make sure that VH updates happen during hours when VH team is not producing them.

Develop ideas for new Webcasts. 

Requires minimum of 5 years TV news production experience, including writing, line producing and producing video segments.  Min. 2 years Web news experience.  BA required.  Journalism degree preferred.
