| Bio: | Born in Huntsville, AL, raised in Slidell, LA, graduated from Pope John Paul II High School in 1998, then again from Tulane University in 2003.
Here are some tidbits to get a general idea on my personality:
I hate mayonaise. I LOVE anything to do with science. I love meta. I'm one of the biggest 80s children you'll ever meet (East Penninsula is the secret). It's fun to stand on soapboxes every once in a while, especially when you're passionate about social issues. Honesty is good, but tact is even better. Taking yourself seriously too often is boring. Everybody needs to lighten up and laugh at themeselves. My tongue is wedged so firmly into my cheek that not even surgery can successfully remove it from the crevices.
If you feel like adding me, don't expect essays that look like they were written by a member of MENSA. My writing is average and random. A good number of my entries are pop culture oriented, specifically in regards to music. I'm pretty straightforward and concise, I don't like to keep people guessing. I find that to be annoying. I don't pitch hissyfits over who adds me. I can't guarantee that I'll add you back, most of the time I do but luckily I haven't been hit by the volatile attention whores. I comment in some journals more than others. Don't take it personally. I do read everything.
I used to be very opinionated and ranted about politics and people in the media often. Not anymore. I may bitch about the administration if something really gets my goat, but nowadays I just want my journal (at least my public entries) to be lighthearted and fun. I might offend some people with my sex-related humor.
I may not agree with everything you write, but I respect you, unless you're outright and purposely ignorant and close-minded. As a frequent reader of SomethingAwful and Maddox, I'm not easily offended by most of what I read on the Internet. Remember, irony and stupidity are two separate entities. Usually, I'm pretty adept in differentiating the two.
I'm an Enneagram Type 5w4. Sometimes, I'm a 5w6 as well.
I also teeter between INFP and INTP, depending on my mood.

| Christi is an oddball of the female species. She seems to be stuck somewhere in between 1976 and 1986. It'd be hard pressed to remove her from that era. Those that have attempted to do so have been either killed in the process or hospitalized with serious kidney damage. It is reported that some have been forced into maximum isolation at the Mount Pleasant Mental Health Institute in beautiful Iowa.
Christi is happiest when she's alone and all bundled up with her cheesy tapes and DVDS, psychology books, and many music CDs.
