Fools, Take the good stuff next time.

Well, its getting late so I think I will discontinue and go to bed. I was working on hunting down and tying up loose ends on the site. It's all for a greater good, trust me. I am working on coercing the silveroranges into giving me a gallery. I have gotten confirmation, but I am going to wait for a bit until I am more ready for it. There are other things that we both need to get out of the way before we will be able to put it in place. I added in my trackbacks again... I don't really understand their usefulness, but I am beginning to understand them I think. I was woken up today around noon and then we went and ate hot dogs. Took my dog to the beach later on in the afternoon and had a good evening hanging around Julien's. Came home and talked to Will about some stuff. Then I began messing around with my code and stuff until now. I will try to sleep in again tomorrow but would still welcome early afternoon visitors...

Taking baby steps toward geekness

I went to that open-source event in Moncton today. It was a really good time. A big cyber-social thing. It was kind of fun. It was at Boomerangs. Upstairs in a nice big room. They didnt have wifi though... I dont really understand why they wouldnt. Wifi is great, and it should be everywhere. Especially in places where there are going to be any kind of meetings or events. Met a whole bunch of interesting people and enjoyed sponging in a bunch of information. I'm glad I went. We got back late, but that's ok too. I'm still awake now. The speakers were relatively interesting but the people were more interesting. There is a lot of stuff that could be changed if we only had enough resources.... ideas abound.

And all she wants to do is dance dance dance

I will bid farewell, sever the ties. I had a pretty good day today. I slept in then Liz came over on her lunch break. It was good to be awake for that.... it's okay that we both don't believe each other because we both know the truth. After that I got dressed and ready for my interview at Hostworks. It went really well I think. Then I went out to Cavendish and sat around in the hot tub for a while. I decided against going to see Harry Potter and opted to go to Baba's instead. Saw a couple of good bands play. You kinda missed out, but that's okay. Now I am kind of tired and I think I will go to bed soon....although I think I will eat that last cupcake before I go. Hopefully things will work out well with the Hostworks thing. I will probably be going to Moncton tomorrow for the open source thing.

P1 - Daily Chores

Eventually, I am going to move all of this boring garbage about what I did in the run of a day to a seperate blog which will free up this main page for actual, important information. I am just trying to finalize the design and get things working properly before I make the move. I assure you that there will be notification before the move. This is just a forewarning. I think that I made some progress with a couple of bugs I was experiencing lately, and it always is the last thing that you will notice or think of... but I dont care, at least it works now.
Today was a pretty lazy day, I got up around noon then went to my house and hung out there for a few hours with my dog and my family. When that was over I felt that it was my duty as a Canadian citizen to watch the Stanley Cup final. I was invited to the St. Pierre residence... so this was my venue. My wrist was quite swollen today... I had been wearing a brace most of the day but I took it off tonight and ended up having to ice it for a couple of hours. I think I might eventually go see a doctor about this. I might just eat a cupcake later or on something instead.

P2 - Unsure of Certainty - Definitely Maybe

Your cryptic quoting and roundabout dialogue do little more than confuse. But with this goal they succeed quite well. Confusion causes frustration, however. With frustration can come irrationalitly progressing toward instability. Instablity is not a desired reaction to the action - but as I have stated before one must consider possible reactions to their actions. Sometimes possiblities are endlessly unpredictable. If they were predictable we would not be a very interesting society, nor would there be any point to life. Although I can understand the usefulness of being vague in some cases... making ambiguous statements leaves things too wide open for interpretation. Ambiguity breeds speculation and inspires assumptions and theory making. It is better, I think, to dispell the theories and be more direct in your thinking. When there is a definite platform; one knows where the other stands and is better able to react to circumstances that may arise. This being said, I realize that at times it is hard to say things... things that you feel need to be said but are unsure how to say. I say... say them... try making it personal... even though this is the hardest way, it is still the best. I need to learn this more than anyone.

Cavendish is....

Well, it's been a good weekend. I skipped a blogging day but it was well worth it. I spent Saturday night and all day Sunday out in Cavendish at Kindred Spirits. I stayed in Dan and Becky's place. It was nice. I was even served breakfast in bed. Which is a great way to wake up. Watching the hockey game while sitting outside in a hot tub is also a pretty good feeling. I think everyone should have an outdoor hot tub... it is sooo nice to sit outside and enjoy fresh air and be massaged by water. We went to the beach, had a BBQ and spent some quality time visiting. I enjoy talking to people. I like to learn by sharing. Another thing I like is watching movies projected on a wall. I had a great weekend overall. Thanks to everyone who was there for making it a great time.
