Iginla receives prestigious King Clancy Award

		Calgary captain Jarome Iginla makes things happen on the ice. He also likes to make things happen off the ice and is very involved in a number of charity and community efforts in Calgary. The right winger was recognized for his efforts off the ice on Thursday, receiving the King Clancy Award and the NHL Foundation Player Award. Sutter praises players

Calgary GM/coach Darryl Sutter said Wednesday his players gave everything they had in the playoffs.
"When there is nothing left, there is nothing left," said Sutter, whose team lost in Game 7 of the Stanley Cup Final on Monday. "The only thing left to do is cry."

Fletcher inducted into Hall of Fame

Cliff Fletcher cut his teeth with the Montreal Canadiens, made his mark with the Calgary Flames, and revived a laughable franchise in the Toronto Maple Leafs.
And so it's no surprise the long-time executive will be inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame next November in the builder's category, alongside players Larry Murphy, Ray Bourque and Paul Coffey.
