Ahoy, fellow DZ lovers. Just joined here :). Wouldn't say I'm new to the series, as I've been watching ever since the first premiere of the first episode of the first season. <3 Just in case you couldn't tell by the sn i'm basically in love with it. AMH is amazing in every way, and even though i've got the dvd's it was still fun to watch recently on USA the encores of the 1st season. it's good for me to tide over when season 4 comes, anyway. Anyone have a specific date? All i've heard was "this summer", maybe sometime in july. Greatly appreciated, and glad to be here. |

just joined the community. i'm new to the series, too. i was watching USA this afternoon and they were playing The Dead Zone: The Beginning. first taste of The Dead Zone and i was immediately hooked! now i'm in search of the television schedule for the series. i must watch more.....plus, Johnny's pretty hot. ^_^ |

Haha, I hate to be annoying and keep posting. Sorry. I have been watching the second season on DVD lately and keep thinking about things though. I apologize also if this has been discussed before. From what I backread it hadn't, but I didn't go all the way to the beginning of the community either.
As a Religious Studies major I am required to take a course in Biblical Studies. I'm currently taking "Old Testament Prophets" to fill that requirement and over the course of that class I have made some connections to how people have said Johnny is a prophet (the guy in Valley of Shadows, and Purdy I think has mentioned it too).

My sister is addicted to Lifetime movies. Haha. :) But there was one with Anthony Michael Hall on it a couple weeks ago and because she knows I love him she taped it for me. It was called...."A Touch Of Hope" I believe? Maybe just "Touch of Hope". Anyway it was about this guy who all of a sudden realizes he can cure people by touching them with his hands (this was Anthony Michael Hall's character). I realized this movie is incredibly similar to The Dead Zone.

If anone missed tonights Simpson's Halloween ep, they did a goof on The Dead Zone, called "The Ned Zone", where Ned Flanders wakes up from a coma with the abilitiy to predict deaths. Pretty funny stuff. |

Hello all! I'm new to this community but I've been watching the show since day 1. :)
( Questions/comments galore )
All this said, I know you guys all want the next season to start as soon as possible, I'm sure! :D I think I'm the only person who wants them to hold off until June. I'll be out of the country until early May....DON'T START THE NEW SEASON BEFORE THAT. Ha, there's my beg.
This show is like crack. It's up there almost as addictive as 24. Good lord. Soo good.
Also, last but not least...I know this is a longshot, but I was curious if anyone could send me Anthony Michael Hall's version of "Hallelujah"? You can send it to me through AIM or email, however you want. I can return the favor by sending you some other songs he has done. Let me know, it would be GREATLY appreciated. I don't have the money to buy the CD at this time, but I desperatly want to her him sing this beautiful song. |

After watching the season final I kicked into geek mode and went and purchased The Dead Zone Soundtrack.
Now, I get a bit disappointed everytime a soundtrack comes out and it doesn't have any of the instramental music that is used on the series. That's what this is, it's a number of bands playing music inspired by the hit series. Some of the tunes are from the series, one being the opening theme song, the others I can't seem to pick out the episodes. (Anybody else know them?)
Anthony Michael Hall actually sings a song called Hallelujah and he's not all that bad. I'm impressed.
The music on the cd is played by bands that are signed to the record label so maybe there trying to get more attention for them?
That being said, I have to say I enjoy the music. I wish they had some of the instramentals from the series but the music on the cd is really good. |

I watched the first episod of Dead Zone's season two yesterday and this season will be better than the first I think ^^. I loved this episod and I can't wait for the others.

Hi all,
I'm a lurker here. I only got into The Dead Zone a few months back when the sci-fi channel started repeating them here (I'm in Scotland). Since then I've managed to catch up due to the repaeats oh sci-fi and buying the S2 DVD. I've now only got the last two eps of S3 to watch (been downloading S3 as it's not on over here yet!) However, I'm confused! If S2 has 19 eps why is this the 'end' of S3 when there's on;y been 10? Was this just a half season run or will we be getting a full season? |

hehe, So hello everyone ^^... I'm gonna introduce myself a bit. I'm Noémie, 16, female, not in a relation ;P and I live in Canada. I'm a big fan of Dead zone... but... since I'm french (yeah from quebec) and we can only watch it on 'canal Z' I've only see the first season ^^". But they gonna start the second one the 24 august... I'm so excited ^^. I hope it's gonna be better than the first, or like it anyway. Btw, how many season there are in english? |
